Why does everything have to be so binary. It’s absolutely fine to pay tribute to 7 amazing years despite a slightly sour ending.

MR saw us through relocation to Northampton, and Birmingham, he managed us through the SISU years and the fall out with the council, which was the lowest point in our history, he got us 2 promotions on a shoe string budget, and gave us more Wembley days out and great memories than we've had in our entire history.
