Got to start for me. He'll make a difference against Leeds.
Putting someone in the starting 11, largely unfamiliar with other players, never played for us before, against Leeds is supposed to improve us immediately?
Not at all sure about that.
A couple of weeks and a couple of sub performances seems the sensible way forward. Especially given our recent form.

Have you noticed how no one mentions Eccles any more? 🤔

It shows that - with Allen fit, him and Torp in good form and now Grimes coming in - we have some depth in midfield, even with Sheaf out. I’m sure there is still a place for Eccles in our squad both as a midfielder and as cover for MVE.

With everyone fit we have a good squad. My main concerna are that we probably need strengthening at left back/left wing and getting decent replacements in for whoever leaves in the summer.

Think we should as Allen needs to play on Saturday the full 90 ideally.

Heard on podcast that if grimes had more pace and power he would definitely be in the premier league. Looking forward to seeing him play

I think because he is cup tied so cannot play in fa cup game at the weekend then yes I would start him tonight and maybe give Allen a rest so he is fresh for Saturday as played quite a few games after not much game time previously.

Agreed, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The current starting 11 deserve to keep their place. Grimes is class and will be a great player for us, but ease him in gently.
