Songs for the boys (1 Viewer)

After 2 successive and successful away games, my 6 yr old grandson asked me, 'Grandad, why don't other teams have songs for their players?'
My reply was properly diplomatic, as befits the elder gentleman, ' I think they do, we just don't hear them as we're busy singing our songs!'

However he may be right, as this is the lad who's voice, in a lapse of noise at Swansea, in a clear solo sang, Du, du, du, football in a library to the amusement of fans all around us and the local police.

Have other fans given up singing for their players? other than Club songs ala, come on you RRRRRR's or the ever popular Millwaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! and our own LAST

See, I told you we're probably the only fans with songs for most of our players!!! this from the Preston reporter on Saturdays game, Lancashire Telegraph.

“The feel-good factor is very much alive there and the unique chants for several different players, sung loud and proud in the stands, was refreshing to see in an age where football grounds are becoming quieter but also very samey.
