I await to see if the EFL hit them with a transfer embargo and big points deduction as they should do. Might be 6 months before they get a goal at home
I'd argue they think about us more than we do them, certainly from my interactions.

When in the Championship they argued they were under Prem rules. When in the Prem they argued they were under FL rules. IIRC if they didn't get promoted last season they were in for a points deduction minimum. They spent well over the odds to get promotion which was added to overspend previously.
I don't have full faith on the FL giving them a proper punishment. But right now they're in a right state and whatever they're given will just add to their woes. They will have to get rid of their higher earners. They should struggle to cheat their way out of it this time.

They are when they come back down unless the FL suddenly go soft on them because of the threat of a costly legal battle.
But they have to do something or it's a waste of time having FFP rules.

They have played the same card twice. They can't use it again. Putting it in very simple terms they said the FL couldn't punish them as the misfunding was from when they were in the Prem. They turned it the other way when the Prem tried. They would get away with it for now if they stay up. Says a lot when the wording of the rules have to be changed but the rules stay the same.
We will have to see what dodgy tactics their legal team come out with next.
