Is it really much of an issue to scroll a bit more mate?

Unless you've got finger issues, I don't see the problem.
I was doing a radio show, weeman. I literally only had seconds to look each time.

Usually, it's instantaneous.

I was checking every 5 mins, so it was really frustrating.

You can filter to the championship

You can, but I did want to keep an eye on the Arsenal score too and also on League One.

They're usually just there and easy to get to.

I'm sure there must have been loads of people out there who wanted to quickly look at the scores, could be a cinema,.or theatre, or on a train etc.

As I say, I follow women's football,.so there's no gripe on that front.

And the BBC do have headlines like Man City score 3 against Chelsea and then you find out it was in fact women's football, not the men's game.

It's not, though, is it.

It's the most minor of minor inconveniences, if you could even call it that.
To you maybe. To me it was an inconvenience and a lot of the time I couldn't check the scores in time.

I do find it funny that you are telling me it wasn't an inconvenience to me, when you don't even know me or know what the situation was. 😂

Would appreciate it if you didn't decide what was inconvenient to me, thanks. 😂

You've said what the situation was, and I know what we're talking about.

This might sound patronising here, for which I apologise, but the definition of the word 'laborious' is something that needs significant effort to accomplish. There's not a single situation, anywhere in the world, where this can be applied to scrolling down a web-page to see some specific football scores.

It's moaning for moaning's sake because something isn't geared for your very specific needs. Bit entitled, no?

What a load of tosh. 😂

For two hours last night, I literally had seconds each time to check the scores. Usually that is not a problem, but last night it was, because it was taking much longer than usual.

I was juggling lots of things all at the same time, so I literally had a few seconds to look on each occasion.

It was taking me more than just a few seconds.

If England men were playing, there wouldn't be the domestic games, because it would be the international break.

Nothing entitled about it and that's the first time anyone has ever accused me of entitlement. 😂 So some brownie points to you.

🤪

Yeah. I could have done that with hindsight. But at the time I only had seconds free and usually I just find the scores in the football scores, which is quite a logical thought process

If you say so. This isn't a subject worthy of a bun-fight, though.

But it *is* a sense of entitlement if you are complaining that something doesn't tailor itself to your very niche requirements.

😂

Niche requirements? 😂😂

I have checked the scores for years and years. It's a recent change isn't it. Hardly niche. 😂

I am not here to argue either. I am just saying, for me last night, it was very frustrating.

Let's move on and talk about stuffing Portsmouth.

That does make it sound more interesting that it probably was, doesn't it. 🤣
Yup.

That sounds like some sort of escort I am enquiring about, for the night.

Though my niche requirement there is that she can keep her socks on.

All the women’s football stories on the BBC site are accompanied by captions reading “Women’s Football” and pictures of women. Sorry to say, if you were “misled” by that I think it’s actually just a skill issue.

They’ve even used a picture of a man to get me to press on women’s football this time! Those pesky journalists tricking me for clicks again!

The quality of the football is poor and not very exciting. I have suggested that ladies matches should be only 70 minutes - but I keep getting shot down in flames!

I'm only trying to help.

I agree, I find the quality drastically reduces in the second half. Could even make the pitch slightly smaller.

The goals should be smaller too. Most men’s keepers these days are 6’3 and above. Even 6ft is small. What chance do the women have? Then they get ridiculed for their mistakes.

I don’t mind watching it but I do feel the press and people involved should recognise it for what it is and not demanding access the stadiums, higher pay, more coverage etc. At Sunday league level, they have far greater facilities than we do

Why is the Women's FA Cup Semi Final - Chelsea v Liverpool being hosted at Chelsea Women's home venue?
Did Chelsea win the cup last season so receive some 'privilege' type thing?

It's a good point. Split it down to men's and women's football. You can still have the England women winning a game, as the top headline, but then the link takes you to the women's football page.

It is a bit daft having to scroll lots of women's football scores to get to anything lower than Premier League level info
It's like the SPL takes precidence over the championship ffs.
