Turns out we've all been harsh on Red Bull.

They actually have promoted Lawson to the faster car!

Max Verstappen is Schumacher levels

And genuinely could be the GOAT tbh

No doubt he's one of the all time greats, and to a whole generation he will he the definitive GOAT, and by the time he's finished he's going to have broken a ridiculous number of records.

But for me, nobody will ever top Jim Clark, especially for the 1965 season where he raced in just about anything on four wheels and won in pretty much all of them.

Had to be up at 6:30 anyway so stuck it on and from what I can tell I didn't miss anything before that other than the pitstop incident.

On that I'm glad it was just noted, no need to punish either. Lando was just behind and Max held his line 🤷‍♂️

May only be Q2, but I think Gasly has just put in a contender for lap of the season... Where did he get that from!?

I had a feeling this was coming 😂

Hahaha, honestly I must look like some anti Brit F1 fan, but I'm not. I just enjoy seeing the better drivers get their rewards

Out of the 2 McLaren drivers, Oscar has shown tonnes more mental strength and racecraft than Lando over the last year. Any driver that makes the mistakes Lando does, and being as mentally weak as him, just doesn't deserve to be a WDC in my eyes

Put it this way, if it's George Russell in that McLaren alongside Oscar, I'd be putting a hefty amount of cash on George. As it is, my money for the title has been, and will remain on Oscar against Lando

I agree. When the pressure is on I just don't think Lando has the killer touch you need to deliver under the pressure of a title fight.

Piastri isn't perfect yet by any means, but he's had a lot less time in F1 than Lando, and I just get the sense there's more of a killer instinct in there.

Speaking of Russell, I think this will end up being by far his best season to date. He looks confident, seems to be able to deliver the pace of the car. I reckon he's driving to prove a point as well, given there's a lot of talk about Antonelli's potential and that Russell's future isn't entirely set in stone.

Agreed

I've been very impressed with George ever since he made the step to Mercedes. I hope they can find the 2 tenths a lap they're missing to McLaren as I think we would have a belting fight

And even Max in a tractor still can't be counted out
