I have been supporting the Sky Blues for 62 years, since I was eight, and that experience tells me that (a) it will go to the wire (b) we will lose at least one game against the so-called lesser opposition and (c) we will win at least one of the two difficult matches.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we lose to Hull and WBA, leaving our nerves frazzled, and then come up trumps by winning the last three. We will go into the Middlesbrough match with all to play for and cruise to victory (I predict 3-1). This will be sufficient to make the playoffs.

We don’t seem to do draws at the moment, so the lads will probably laugh at my predictions and draw at least three of the remaining games!

I’m just grateful, given where we were when FL took over, that we are even in the mix for the playoffs. It seemed impossible at the time.

Win here would be great as ideally do not want to be going into the Albion game with them breathing down our necks with our piss poor record against them

Looking at Hulls run in it's all teams around them and Swansea who will have nothing to play for. I don't think they are going to risk too much in the game, probably play for a draw which will still see them head 3 point clear going in to that set of games so completely in their hands.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but Hull have the worst home form this season in the league. Rock bottom. Take off the sky blue scepticism and look at stats alone and you have to be confidence. But football isn't played on paper I guess

We’ve been wank on the road in the main, hull have worst home record, this game isn’t a free hit or a game we can have off, if we want play offs this is must win vs a team that’s gonna fight like fuck as are Luton and Plymouth
If we score a goal we should be good for at least a point. They've only scored 7 and conceded 7 in their last 10 games.

A win would be great but a draw would open up a 3 point gap to 7th. I'd settle for a draw in this game and a win at home to WBA.

Bad vibes about this. It’s not the championship way for a play off chasing team to extend to a comfortable lead.

With 2 games in quick succession, we might have to have mix things up a bit. The likes of Bidwell, Lati, Patterson, Allen, Bassette and maybe even Binks might need to come in and play a role at some point. Helps keep players fresh for Friday.

Hopefully we’re two up with half an hour to go and can bring a few off.

I knew somebody would say that. He only played 5-3-2 until people returned from injury and I think it was what he inherited.

He is a down the line 4-3-3 man. It was said before he arrived and has proved so since. He is not like Robins who pulled the odd rabbit out of the hat. You see his lack of flexibility in the use of subs; he's even worse than Robins. Prem managers regularly make a change at half time.

There are managers in the prem who won't change come hell or high water so even if it was injuries that made him change I still think that shows flexibility.

Are you saying that you don't think Lampard is a good manager?

Would absolutely love this but can't see Lamps playing Wright LW.

It's almost like he's unaware of the fact he was unbelievable there in the second half of last season.

I want to show him the full 90 away at Wolves.
He would definitely rate sheaf then if we showed him that

That is complete and utter nonsnse. Robins was that predictable with his subs, majority on here would guess who they were and what time they'd come during the matchday thread.

I certainly didnt expect Bassette and Paterson on with EMC and Wright going off last game.

We might still be 6th after Monday night, but that would make Fridays game even more on a knife edge .
Let’s not even contemplate losing to Hull , but have a good performance & bring those points home ……
