The Hull goal was so marginal its stupid to blame the officials, tough call. Were by far better than the set we had in the two games prior. Although we did have a valid penalty shout (RE: Sheaf) but I dont think the ref or Lino had a good view of it

Bit of an odd one tonight. Although I think their keeper was MOTM and made a few really good saves, I also feel like we had a lot of possession without really threatening too. We didn't really have any urgency until they scored, by which time it was too late. We looked good with the ball.... slowly and without urgency. I came away feeling that a draw was probably a fair result, even though we had the lions share of the chances. We certainly didn't strike me as a team champing at the bit to secure a play off spot. We looked a team that could take it or leave it. Almost an attitude of "if we get there, happy days, if we don't, I'll be on the beach 2 weeks earlier". If we can't get ourselves up for a game against a struggling side, to put us 5th and 5 points clear, then what are we doing?

I’ll admit this is a very pessimistic view, but my feeling is we might just be running out of steam. Players injured and scraping against lower league opposition. I think Middlesbrough and West Brom will find us out.

If we get in the play offs great, but I think we need another window to strengthen to be a truly formidable force in this league.

The same could be said for Boro and WBA. The latter have just lost 2 on the bounce and WBA hadn’t won in 5 games before Saturday. Even have tough games to come up.

WBA are not the same beast under Mowbray and Boro are a team of good individuals but the collective is muddled at times. Hence why they’re streaky, one way or the other.

I do agree that we need to strengthen to be a top Championship team. We concede too many soft goals and sometimes lack a bit of magic to break down defences.

Afraid I agree with this assessment and I'd be asking questions of the hierarchy personally, injuries apart, don't know what Frank's assessment is or the owner's for that matter, Haji was ambling about. The team was flat and not hungry for it at all.
I think they're resigned to their fate and we're not gonna make it, it's felt to me that Frank hasn't been focused for at least a month, I mean all the fist pumps after sneaking a late goal.

I think the loss of Dovin and now Torp is stretching the team and sapping some morale. Rudoni can’t do it all by himself. The others need to step up. Nevertheless we saw lots of good play from many today, but just lacking the killer instinct to stick it in the back of the net. As I stated before, Hull were there for the taking, but we just didn’t show the ruthless needed to grab 5th place.

I’m sure many people felt the same back in 22/23 when we drew to Wigan away. There’s this odd duality of having the most difficult games against relegation contenders and if we don’t win, lacking what it takes to be a playoff team.

There’s also little evidence that WBA and Boro have the ruthlessness to overtake us. Whatever we do, they need to beat us by 3 points. Having the two chasing teams in WBA and Boro having to play us away gives us a great opportunity and you probably wouldn’t plan it any other way.

Too much panicking here as per usual. If we beat WBA, we’ll have all but secured a playoff berth going into the final day.

Disappointed to only get a point but that's the way it goes. Haji missed 2 very good chances and seemed at his lackadaisical worst. Thought Simms had a decent game and the keeper made a couple of excellent saves to deny him a goal. Rudoni our best player on the night. Was hoping for 4 points from tonight and Friday but would take a point v The Baggies.

I thought Haji played well. Certainly better as LW than a striker. The header was a poor miss though.

It was a strange game. Probably the best we've played away all season. Hull keeper was outstanding and won them the point.

Having WBA and Boro at home is certainly better than having to play them away. Agree that Haji didn’t seem as sharp as he usually is. Maybe Patterson should have come on sooner. Allen definitely deserves a run and I’ll bet we see him on Friday. Lati was decent although he almost scored an own goal. Da Silva was excellent for the most part and I just wonder if more could have been done to stop the shot for their goal. Anyway. at least we got something and we move on.

Let's put a bit of reality into it.

Sheffield United beat us a couple of weeks ago. They looked certs for an automatic place. Since then?

Oxford 1-0 Sheffield United
Sheffield United 0-1 Millwall
Plymouth 2-1 Sheffield United

Injuries? Yes. Running out of steam? We deserved a win last night. Their GK was excellent.

WBA find us out? They've won 2 out of the last 8 since the start of March. Yes they might win. But we're at home and playing well. The pressure is on them not us. A draw puts them 3 points away from 6th with 3 games to go. Lose then minimum 4 points away. For us? Lose then we will be GD away from 6th. Draw 6th. Win? If Middlesbrough or Millwall don't win we will be minimum 5 points away from 7th with 3 games to go.

Their GK was excellent. It certainly wasn't a lack of trying. If they didn't get that goal it would have been seen as a great performance by most. But as we only got 1 point it's post mortem time.

I thought the effort shown was very good.
I disagree with this.
We should really have won. Too much dithering in front of goal in second half even though plenty of shots on goal.Superb performance by goalkeeper for Hull stopped us getting a win.

Best performances by Milan, Jack, Liam and Jay.

I came away from game slightly disappointed but happy with performance and application by the players. Getting something from the game for me was main priority beforehand.

Nice to be back from a game in 30 mins!

Thought we played really well tonight and, although it’s disappointing not get the win, we are three points clear of 7th with 4 games left - the bottom two still to play and other play-off contenders at home. We are still in a great position.

Okay, so you own a helicopter. No need to brag about it on here, where for many it's Heat or Eat. 😡

Was best we played in few weeks, finishing apart, but at least we created chances.

another night we win 2/3/4.0

Big opportunity missed, but still in great position. Friday very big…….

A slight over reaction on here, prob the best wev‘e played away all season so I can’t see how the players weren’t up for it or resigned to our fate, just didn’t take our chances, you’d think we‘d of lost and mid table, massive game Friday weve got some of the most negative fans for a team that’s 3 points clear in the play offs 😂

Didnt get home until gone one so cant be bothered with scoring every player but overall we played well. Everyone thought Collins had made another one when they scored until people saw the replay back on the coach.
Mom for me was close between JDS and Rudoni
Simms overall played well and lead the line but like Wright who was the biggest culprit was wasteful with our chances and the reason we only got a point.
subs were made far to late and would have prefered to see Simms stay on and Wright pushed up front with Pato on the left

Running out of steam and injuries kinda come together. Performance last night was good, which is why we needed three points from it. I think with the depth we have now, it’s going to be harder to keep that up against higher class opposition.

We did play very well.

Not wanting to pee on anyone's chips or anything, but Hull were very, very poor.

I am hoping it's because we made them look poor, rather than anything
else. On the surface it did look like we played really well.

Collins barely had anything to do all night.

Tougher test on Friday for sure.

Tbf I think West Brom have the form of a bottom half team since Mowbray came in, the points accumulated under Corberan the only reason they are still hanging around.
They are a bogey team and they are playing us at a good time with our injuries piling up, but let's see what happens. We're a better team overall.
