Season Tickets 25/26 (1 Viewer)

On the basis that we aren't in the Premier league as we would no doubt sell out, if we stay in the Championship, how many season tickets do you think we would sell for next season if they were kept at the same price and would you still renew if the price went up say by £50?
Also what are the chances of increasing the number of season ticket holders in the section next to the away fans with people moving there from other areas? It would be good to have that whole section full each game like singers corner.

Hasn't the template been set?

It will be an £x increase in mind.

Then go for an even bigger one... wait for the outcry... say they are listening & have decided to reduce it to an £x increase.

Club get what they want... and look good in the process.

Difficult one tbh. It's been another good season and we are getting fans back in numbers, but I think the general movement and amount of games some can't make with changes will be interesting to see how many renew. Hoepfully a positive end and get the on sale with a decent early bird discount BEFORE the play-offs, assuming we make them, and there might be a higher take up.

Do we have a cap on the number of season tickets we can sell? Never been an issue before, but can't remember ever seeing a max number quoted. I think we may have a small increase as i think we will be seeing a bit of investment due to Lampard wanting some quality players to bring in to strenghten

i'd be surprised if we sell less, i dont think there is any reason in ownership, personnel, logistical reasons why someone would not renew (other than personal)

My only logic would be on the amount of games moved to early Saturday/Friday or Monday nights, may put some people off, especially if they have kids

Yeah but that was the big thing last year pre-season, with a lot of complaining and "I'm not renewing", yet we had an increase in sales.

I would've thought the after game 'experience' more likely to make people think about renewing rather than the entertainment, value or times.

At the end of the day, you're probably going to think back and remember the great moments over the course of an exciting season, rather than what you were doing after the match (which was probably crap at the time).

Four of us will renew no matter what, it's the hope that keeps you going (plus chance of promotion and a free season ticket next year can't be bad)

I will be renewing whatever, but it will be interesting how many people don't renew because of parking etc. Not sure how much affect the family zone ticket scheme has affected people also. If they do drop off, I expect there will be more new season ticket holders buying though. Lets hope we are in the Premier league though and we just sell out every game

Would be surprised if there's a drop off...

Yeah, same here. I think people assume everyone from last season renewed. Some won't have. Lots of new folks bought one. I'd expect the same again but it might level out. Some won't renew, some who've been a few times this year will go for a season ticket next year.

It’s a no brainer , as we all want to see the city get promotion & how would you feel if you missed out on Lampard leading us back to the prem , just because of a few midweek or 12.30 kick offs ?
Whatever scenario maps out this season, let’s back the club as best we can ,

It would be around 24k.

Have to leave 6k for away teams in the cup, plus clubs always like some matchday sales as it allows new fans to come through

6k for away fans, not sure about that? Clubs will Always sell out for season tickets, money up front!

Then after that you can put your name down on a waiting list for season tickets.

I don't think my son will renew as he wants to start playing football again & I think the 11 or 12 hour round trip is taking its' toll. Not sure what he will do if we end up in PL. I will renew & if he doesn't I will try and do midweek games too as retirement has given me a lot more time.

The faffing about with days/ times hasn’t been as bad this year with them announcing a whole chunk of fixtures before the season started, then with at least 4 weeks notice after that.
