We really do need to win the game or it puts more and more pressure on the next game to win.

If the games go to form below us both Boro and Millwall will be closing in. A win may take us to 5th

A defeat could leave us in 9th - the Hull debacle has made more and more pressure on this match

I think debacle is a bit strong.
Disappointing, of course and if ( when) we win today then all is well

Don’t get lemon with me! We can’t just draw to stumble over the line.
I'm too old to get what that means @Tommo1993 :ROFLMAO: . I was just thinking more along the lines of 'how do we get there, I don't care' and thought you were saying that you did care how we got there. If the ball deflects off a lemon or a plastic pig to get us in the play offs, I'll take it!

Lots of if's though aren't there.

It is possible that we could draw today and pull further away from those below us.

And if games go to form and Boro beat Plymouth today, why wouldn't they go to form on Monday, when we play Plymouth ourselves? 🤷‍♂️

It's all ifs. We should be looking to win for sure, but it definitely isn't a must win, because even a draw keeps us IN the top 6.

But there is no they to do that as they are all on the right. The CM is looking for a square pass and the only threat is the guy behind Da Silva. He can be 5 yards closer to his man and still cover the centre, but he’s ball watching and has little idea where his man is…

yes but jds needs to be there, that is what a full back does when the defence shifts to one side
id he is wider they gap in the middle is far too big

This is a “must not lose” for us and pretty much a “must win” for WBA.

If we beat them and Bristol win against Sunderland - entirely likely as Sunderland are cemented into fourth place - WBA are close to being out of the playoffs. They would certainly need to win all of their remaining three games.

The fact that they are going to have to attack us will probably help us to get some goals, whilst I can’t see us keeping a clean sheet. I do think we need to score first and never go behind.

I think it could be a good, if nail-biting game. I’m going 3-2 to us. This almost certainly means it will be 0-0 😆 but I will still stick with my prediction.
