3 games to go (1 Viewer)

Well that can't be true. We play Middlesborough on the last day. Even if they have 69 and better GD coming in, with a draw, we'd need 4 points from the previous 2 games. No-one else can get to 71. So 5 points to make sure.

Well it's Plymouth & Luton first before Boro Marty McFly

What I mean is we can afford to lose one of Plymouth or Luton and it still be completely within our own hands

It's a big bow that Boro scored but we must move on. 3pt gap not 5

We really don't want it to go to last game but that might be unavoidable.

Can we win our next 2? Yes. But will both Boro and Bristol fail to win theirs?

Be better needing a point last day than a win though so let's stay ahead of them at very least

But looks let's stay positive. If Boro do drop PTS in a shock to sheff wed and we get something at Plymouth it's pretty much clinched.

So, if we beat Boro we only need 1 point from either Plymouth or Luton to make the playoffs.

I think so

If we beat Boro, the most they can get is 69 points? We would have 69 if we beat them. Their GD is better so we just need a point

Let's hope we don't have to 69 Middlesbrough....🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Need five or seven or nine points to guarantee to make playoffs.

Stranglely six points does not guarantee it.

Five points guarantees not losing to Middlesbrough. We would finish on 71.
Middlesbrough maximum would be 70.

This is my calculation after a long day.

Nothing to fear , especially after such a good performance today .
Plymouth had a defender sent off , so one less against us .
Luton , a season of under performing, but a win there & a chance to send them down …… poetic justice !
Boro won’t fancy getting anything , from their “ bogey team “
Then on to our extended 2 game season & near compulsory Wembley excursion ……
Oh to be a SKYBLUE.

Game 1
Plymouth V Cov
Luton V Bristol
Sheff Wed V Middlesbrough

Game 2
Luton V Cov
Leeds V Bristol
Middlesbrough V Norwich

Game 3
Cov V Middlesbrough
Bristol V Preston

Tight as a gnats arse. I'd say Boro are almost guaranteed 6pt by the time we play them, they have got lucky having two teams with zero to play for. Wonder if there is a scenario where we both just need a draw by the time we meet?

Yes and it's possible... Bristol lose next two, Boro win next two, and we take 4 points. Go into final game with us on 70, Boro 69, Bristol 67. A draw would have us finish 5th and Boro 6th unless Bristol won by 5 goals

Leeds can be promoted on Monday I think.
Means their game Vs Bristol City could mean "nothing"/have less riding on it for them.... Unless they want to go up as champs!?!!

It would be really weird / strange / full circle if it was their near neighbours Sunderland.
