No premier league for me. In the Playoff final at Wembley (again ole ole) We need someone to do a Dabo and miss the last penalty, or have a perfect goal disallowed so we are moral winners but cheated out of it, like v Man U in the FA Cup.

I’m with you on this. Not sure I’ll enjoy the prem but winning games and days like to day make it all worthwhile.
Will worry about the Prem part if and when it happens. With Lampard we would have a chance of competing in games. He will have contacts that could bring in a few players. But as long as we don't waste the windfall that comes with promotion we would end up in a stronger position. I'd be happy to become a yoyo club.

As long as our supporters are realistic it would also be fun.

It's really odd I want the joy of promotion but don't think I'll enjoy the premier league anywhere near as much. I'm also likely to see a lot less games as I use ifollow today. There's an argument to say I could look at a season ticket now my lad is getting a bit older but I certainly won't be travelling away so would be very bitter sweet.

Lmao some of the fucking replies

Half of you don't wanna go up
Half of you wanna get relegated asap if we do

Idiotic
I just find it frustrating that it changes the way we have to follow our club, it's not like the tech isn't there it's just stupid rules for rules sake. I still want us to get promoted and be successful.

Mate the world's changing. It's never gonna be the same again

Even in championship every game is on TV one way or the other now so prem isn't really gonna change much

Majority game will be on sky or tnt and if not so many overseas providers show the games so streams will be easier to find than ever

Yeah I guess the point is with Sky and Ifollow the club get my money, I hate looking round for some shitty stream that the club get nothing for. I'm sure the rules will change soon as I think a lot of European teams allow it!

Yeah I get that and I had follow up until this year and didn't understand people getting dodgy streams rather than paying the club

But this year I've stopped with ifollow as the sky deal means it's not needed other than maybe 5 times a season so can't justify keeping my subscription

But the prem would give us so much money it really wouldn't matter if you watched a dodgy stream and every league game would be an event

And just think how excited the younger fambase would be too

We want to get promoted and we want to stay up

Dream of winning the premier league one day not hoping to become a yo-yo team I say!

The aim in the Prem shouldn't be to prepare your squad for another championship season. Should be to do enough to stay up then improve.

Aim for Europe, win a cup or something. Just because you get pumped by the top most weeks doesn't mean there isn't a lot more good to play for.

I'm sure Forest fans are gutted they didn't just prepare to go straight back.

Its a cesspit up there. Instead of moaning about corrupt refs it will be moaning about being shafted by Var every week. And pushing bankruptcy in the process of doing it. Been there done that. No thanks

Then we may as just hope to get relegated to League One for a change of scenery or just give up now.

tbf we'd be starting from a pretty different place. Much deeper, stronger squad for this level, much bigger fan base at this level. Don't think it follows that we'd have the same experience.

It’s interesting what the two clubs have done over the last two years.
In 2023 neither of us was ready for the PL. Luton won and had to try and rush into becoming a PL team overnight, which isn’t possible.
We on the other hand have spent the past two years making the club ready for the premier league.
I feel like now we’re as ready as we’ll ever be

Since Sisu the trajectory has been inching slowly towards the premiershit. But make no mistake a Fool’s Paradise is what that will be, a distortion of values, greed and hype. This maybe as good as it gets.

My only thought is Saints - my friend from St Mary’s tells me this year has been awful

Expectations are too high. Even Ipswich had too high expectations. You're never going to enjoy it by doing that.
