The cheating mutants are back. Hopefully finally get a proper punishment and we can flush them all the way to league one where they belong.

I know it's Leicester, and we all hate Leicester but it really is a sad indictment of the gulf between the Championship and Premier League now. I would love to get promoted but the thought of being that shit week in week out is depressing.
It certainly is But, it’s a Relegation Celebration party for one when I get home.

I've had similar thoughts. Everything is centred on getting to the promised land but then what, hope one of the big clubs don't put 10 past you when you're getting hammered week in, week out?

The ideal would be promotion is when Doug cashes out and a billionaire comes up but we're never that lucky. And obviously it's not great for the game that finding a billionaire is basically the only way to compete.

Become a yoyo club and build from there, take the premier league pasting seasons on the chin for a few years, that's my take on it.
Unless your billionaire scenario comes true!

Leicester cut their own throats this season by not keeping Cooper as their manager .
Yes he was at their big rivals , but his experience with them , should have been built on , instead of trying for an instant fix .
Another X Man U “ legend “ appointed & we know it’s been a disaster & relegation today .
It really couldn’t happen to a more deserved club …….

Shocking the amount of empty seats today, I watched Ipswich game and it looked full & I think we'd be the same in the PL in the same position.

It’s embarrassing having a 6 page thread on them when their main rivals are Derby and Forest. Still glad they went down though!

Even that might not help. Ipswich have spunked 150 million trying to stay up and haven't even got close. FFP will be all over them if they don't go straight back up.

It isn't as easy as just spending money. The higher up the pyramid you go the more worthless spending money is. You need more than just better players that got you promotion.

I would fancy our chances of giving it a good go. We have a manager who was one of the best players the Prem has ever seen and has improved the way we play no end. We have a few players that could make the big step up. Lampard has contacts in the game that could help. We could make the CBS a fortress. But whatever happens it wouldn't be easy.

I know promotion this season would be great but one more season at this level would probably be better.

They became entitled when they won the Prem. They suddenly thought they became one of the big boys. But it all went wrong very quickly.

We only have to go back one manager to go back as far as League 2. Playing out of our city twice. Not knowing for sure if we would even have a club in the near future. But here we are just on the edge of the playoffs and our ground that was too big for us suddenly is too small for us. We would go up without too much expectation. As long as we don't do a Southampton we would be OK.

They got relegated and were give parachute money to get back up, relegated again shouldn’t mean more parachute money ! Its like they are being funded by EPL !
