Boro fan here can anyone recommend a decent hotel and some pubs for the game and maybe somewhere for a good breakfast thanks in advance

regards

Near the ground, 10 min walk, there is the Novotel. If in town centre, your usual Premier Inns etc., but the Telegraph Hotel is very good. Round the ground a few places for a drink, Longford Engine is an away designated pub, and you'll have no issue in Dhillons.

There's a hotel at the ground, problem is there's not a pub near the ground and they won't let you in the casino if they clock you are away fans. The Longford Engine is the designated away pub these days I think.

Public transport to and from the ground is shocking. There's a shuttle bus from the train station but no idea if that's for away supporters as well.

The Novotel is within walking distance of the ground. Its decent enough from what I hear and should be able to supply you with a few pints

Do they allow away fans in? I have no idea what is open up there if there's not a match on. There's at least one other bar (the Mill) and a restaurant in there.
@Borosniper - the Anecdote - next to the hotel entrance at the CBS is open on non match days.
Food is decent. (Honestly not sure about away fans on match days)
You could stay at the CBS, have a few at the Anecdote on the night before. If you aren't wearing colours on match day, you'll definitely be fine.

Whenever I’ve been in The Anecdote on a match day, they’ve always checked my ticket to make sure I’m a home fan. Not been in there for over a year though.

Depends if you’re coming by car or not, but if not, there’s a newish hotel by the station called Hotel Indigo. It’s got a decent bar (bit pricey) and then it’s handy for the hourly train service to Coventry Arena station.
Aye mate thanks I'm coming via car doesn't seem to have parking

Probably best is a city centre Premier Inn or the Telegraph hotel with rooftop bar ?
Plenty of good pubs in the centre including a couple of Wetherspoons, breakfast available at these of course guaranteed, bearing in mind the daft 12.30 kick off. Buses run from CV 1 to the ground or an Uber might be quicker if you’re feeling flush.
Hopefully a nice sunny day and back to the City centre after the match.
whats CV 1 mate? I saw that the train goes straight from the city centre to the stadium think it was £7.20 return.

Parking at St Finbarrs in Holbrook Lane. Only a fiver. Always see away fans parking there too, so nice and safe. 15 mins from ground.

CV1 just means the city centre.

The Jacobean Hotel on Holyhead Road, or the Village Hotel as Grendel has mentioned are both decent.

It is (shuttle bus) upon production of a match ticket.
No segregation with seating either.

another vote for the Village. Decent spot. Good pubs on Craven Street nearby and in Earlsdon not far away. Decent places to eat in Earlsdon.
