Hamer is a great player but that was awful defending, allowed to run free and roll a 4 yard ball with no pressure on him

No, I disagree with that. I am certain he would have turned it round.

We would be nowhere near how close Lampard has got us in the league though.

Anyway, it's all behind us. Lampard has done brilliantly well and long may it continue.
