Bloody lucky today with the results around us.

Even if Boro win at the weekend and we lose to Luton the last game of the season at the CBS will be the decider

Millwall will need to dramatically sort out their goal difference to catch up.

2 massive games left and the players need to sort themselves out.

They’ve still got a chance.
Millwall might not need GD though. They could take advantage of us and Boro drawing on last day and leapfrog us both possibly.

I actually think today will make preparation easy.
We've had some stinking performances under Lampard but not sure we've had 2 on the spin, not post New year anyway

Think even Burnley wasn't that bad and we may have got something but for Collins.
We were value for a result against Burnley, another one that clown cost us.

I'm confident we'll beat Boro, our home record is great.
It's next week I'm worried about

Am I missing something with the whole we can lose to Luton, Boro win Saturday, and a win b Boro means we're in???

Boro have a better GD

Say we lose by a goal, they win by 2 then we don't just 'need to win' we have to beat them by 4 goals no??

I think people are underestimating this whole 'ah we only need to beat Boro' narrative???

I'm very chilled now, far more so than 2 years ago. In 2023 I genuinely thought we would win the play offs. This time around I think we would struggle to make it past the semis. That said achieving top 6 twice in 3 years would be a great statement to make so fingers crossed

Yea im aware of that

What im saying is all this 'we only need to beat Boro' narrative is bollocks isn't it?

If we lose and they win Saturday, we will need to have to beat them 4 nil minimum no?
No, just need to beat them to finish above them.

You might want to look at the table again mate!
Ok , I've looked. We are on 66 points, Boro are on 63 with a better GD. We lose next week, Boro win so we are both on 66 but boro have a better GD so they are 6th we are 7th. We beat them, which you are confident about and suddenly we are on 69 and Boro are on 66. Millwall are the only team near enough to threaten but they have a poor GD. Where have I gone wrong?

It’s right mate. They are 3 points behind. So it’s irrelevant if we lose to Luton and Boro beat Norwich. as long as we beat Boro last day no team could catch us.

Write that shit show off, let's never talk of it again.

Although we really got out of jail with other results, I think it also goes to prove how all teams can fail under the pressure or even pull a performance out the hat at any point in this division.

I'd be tempted to give Wilson a go, bigger character and not a bad keeper. He can play it short to Grimes now so kicking isn't that much of an issue.
Genuinely do not think it's good for Collins' mental strength to keep putting him back in, although his distribution has been good, each time he makes an error, you can see his head drop.

Millwall technically could but they'd have to hammer their next 2 opponents to take us on goal difference.

Millwall are more who I'm worried about, and a 6 goal turn around over 2 games isn't that big.
They also seem to be like we were in 23, with everything going their way
We're still in a good position, but it's far from a given.
