Have gone from strongly defending Simms, to being on the fence about him, but after today I'd probably say Biamou.

At least he scores the odd worldy.

I may change my mind tomorrow whenever calmed down

Simms. Has scored more goals for us in fewer appearances than Biamou. Plus a lot of Biamou's appearances and goals were in League One.

Imagine if you can lock Simms and Haji in a room for 24 hours watching Gyokeres and the effort he put in.

So fucking laid back and soft. Ellis was nearly in tears when he fouled their player and thought he'd hurt him. Utter embarrassment.

Do we play in a way to get the best out of Simms? It’s a genuine question as I don’t know what he really wants.

He seems to nice Vik wouldn’t have given a shit about their player being injured.

There are definitely things that max Biamou is better than ellis simms at .. but he cost us next to fuck all

To be fair to Simms if you go for a ball and catch someone accidentally, especially in the head, then I think it's good that you check the opponent is alright. In fact, I'd want a player to do that and would think they were a bit of a c*** if they didn't.

If you put in a strong fair challenge then no apologies (unless you get it really wrong and catch them, though they're probably told not to as it looks like an admission of guilt and could make a ref's mind up whether to book them or not.)

Not saying Simms does that either. I just think using him checking on their player today as him being too nice is a tad unfair.

Well he's not a centre forward that's for sure, the first thing any center forward should do is hold the ball up, to bring your midfielders into play.

Two years in a neither Wright nor Simms look like they have that dog in them. Wright gets a pass cos his scoring record is ridiculous but both would kick on so much if they could get a bit of aggression about their play.

I shall politely abstain. Still think Ellis has a part to play, and will help us beat Boro'. Can't say I'm over optimistic if we have to face Sheff Utd, as they'll rest Hamer etc for the next 2 games.

No i don't think we do, and it shows in that whoever is up front on their own struggles BUT that doesn't excuse missing chances that are harder to miss, being unable to control the ball and generally being soft.

I really like Simms and want him to succeed but I don't think he's got the cutting edge and arrogance to succeed at the top (and he's not the only one in our side).

I think FL is well aware of this and will move him on in the summer.

So clearly you want to slate Simms so just comment on the Simms thread instead of creating a pointless poll to satisfy your hatred of Simms
I'll be sure validate my opinion with you before creating anything else, although it seems over 50 % would select Biamou 🤷‍♂️
