Collins
Thomas Lati Kitching
MVE Sheaf Grimes Rudoni Dasilva
BTA Wright

Collins because if he was ever going to play Wilson he would of done it by now

If Thomas isn’t fit Binks and move Lati over

I wouldn’t put Binks in unless there is no other choice

Also I have said on other threads this will be a different kind of challenge from Plymouth,

Having watched a few of their games while they are physical and direct they also press much higher up the pitch that Plymouth do. I think we'll create more chances than we did at Plymouth as there is space in behind them at times we can exploit and it is low block teams liek Plymouth we struggle against.

We have generally bounced back well after a bad result and I would expect FL to put a rocket up them this week in training after seeing his post game comments - let's hope he makes the correct personnel & tactical changes as well. On a positive spin, If we can win here 5th spot is in our hands as I can't see anything but a Bristol loss at Leeds with them going for the title.

We look a lot better with Sheaf so will feel more comfortable if he’s available.

That said, with these fighting for their lives, I can’t see anything other than a defeat. It’s irrelevant really anyway

Thomas won’t be available for Luton
Boro maybe
I think there were so many sub par performances it would be crazy to think taking Collins out would have changed to outcome
Maybe if dovin was playing

We may need more physicality for this fixture.
That's a quality in which the squad is a bit lightweight for me.

I can see us winning this

As I said while they will be direct and physical their pressing suits us better than Plymouths so there should be more chances for us.

Don't often (ever) say "must win", but this is a must win.

Hopefully JDS and Sheaf will be back in the 11. As for the keeper situation, I think we're between a rock and a hard place. Neither of our choices are great.
Wilson is no where near as bad as poppadom fingers. He may have his faults but generaly Wilson is a pretty good shot stopper

Not looking forward to it if I'm honest. I've seen a real mix of results there. I still have nightmares over the 5-0 game.

The 3-0 win in League 2, however, was probably the best tactical change I ever saw Robins make. We were clinging on to a 1-0 lead and he lost his head and threw on Nazon and Biamou to join McNulty and Jodi Jones as an almost 4-2-4 formation and we suddenly ran them ragged.

Luton have picked up some OK results against higher teams but nothing like Plymouth. I think this is the easier of the two tbh.

Find it baffling the amount of people complaining about the team being bottle jobs and then predicting certain defeat a few minutes later. Time for a bit of grit from players and fans alike. This is a game we should win, and can win.
Definitely capable of picking up a point.

It’s crazy, we lost an away game and suddenly we have a team ‘full of pussies’. The abuse at the game was pretty bad too particularly for Wright and Simms.

It's nuts. We have played really well in the 2 previous games and nearly everyone was purring

Lose one and play poorly and suddenly we aren't good enough

Still two games to go yet.

If we get to make the playoffs now, we will have deserved it

Not sure it's the easier of the two. Both have been in decent form but Luton objectively have a better side than Plymouth and their directness and physicality is basically kryptonite to us.

We've consistently looked uncomfortable against teams that put long balls into the their attacking third and we're rubbish at picking up second balls against more physical opposition to compound that.

That being said I back us to get something out of the game as we've shown we can bounce back from a pretty shitty result but we need to be at our best and not play into their hands otherwise it'll be a tough 90 minutes.

We’ll win this game. Yesterday was a boot up the arse to get the management thinking about ways to break down the low block.

My team:

Wilson
MVE
Lati
Kitching
JDS
Sheaf
Grimes
Rudoni
Sakamoto
Simms
Wright

If Thomas is fit, he needs to go back in the team for Lati. I’d like to see Paterson get some game time as he thought he did alright v Plymouth.

I’m convinced the issues are more tactical than personnel/formation.

Lampard is right in saying all the goals are collective failures, but ultimately, Collins needs to be dropped.

if we can win and one of the following, then we are there
a) Middlesbrough dont beat norwich we are there or
b) Bristol C dont get more than a point from Leeds A and Bristol C H
c) we draw v Middlesbrough

if we draw we would then need to draw v Middlesbrough and hope Millwall dont win both of theirs or if not we would need to beat Middlesbrough
If we lose we would need to beat Middlesbrough

Its going to be a nervy 12 days
