Nah it's not that, I think he did some really good things today going forwards and looked fresher for his time out of the spotlight. He's very young so will grow with us hopefully, but he was a bit naive at that corner and one of the players at fault for the goal, if not the only one.

He defended from the front, yeah, and was useful at the back defending too. He won some great flick on's-including from a throw in, that went to our player running off him, SHOCK! He was very good with his back to goal despite being shoved and kicked and he actually was strong and won us free...

Massive 3 points, lots of character and battling. You could tell from the celebrations of the first goal that there was almost a feeling of disbelief amongst the players that we were actually ahead. Well done, lads!

He's looked very good going forwards. I would say that in the words of one Mark Robins, he was not streetwise enough at that corner.

One of these days, Thomas is going to score an absolute screamer. Sterling looking decent going forwards, maybe the break has done him good. Good touch.

Care to elaborate? I've praised Doyle when he's done good things, but he was at fault there as he has been a few times due partly to his lack of pace. As for Brown, I refer you to Nick's comment!

Great save Burge. Doyle too slow, Brown generally clueless.

Fucking brilliant! Shipley and Chalpin building up a real understanding this half, JCH winning the initial flick on brilliantly. Lucky deflection but who cares!

So unlucky. Doyle's best moment of the game with the pass too but brilliant touch by Chaplin.

Good cross from Shipley, then great defending by Doyle and shimmy by Bayliss. Bad foul on him!
