    Stupid question time

Haven't watched it for years. Last time i watched it was unenlightening and most of the people there stick to the party line or use it as a clapping competition for 20 second perorations to be out up on Facebook.

    Helicopter crash at king power

Yep. Without being preachy, it really does remind you of how lucky we are in life.

    Helicopter crash at king power

I do think that PB, Macca and FP have made a reasonable point ... even though I wouldn't have initially chosen this thread to make it myself. The number of minutes' silences at games seems to have mushroomed in recent years; I've been to games where we've applauded a person with no connection...

    Helicopter crash at king power

Just because you don't get it, doesn't mean that it's not genuinely felt. Don't forget he'd provided the funds for the once in a lifetime Premiership win and had appointed Ranieri. If that had been us we might feel the same.

Please tell me people do not actually do this. If so then that IS something worth calling out.

    Helicopter crash at king power

On the Leicester forum loads of fans from other teams have signed up simply to post messages passing on their thoughts and good wishes. They're hardly likely to want to fish for likes of FoxesTalk, much more likely they wish to genuinely express themselves. Yes it may be meaningless in terms of...

    Helicopter crash at king power

It's conceivable that, assuming the Malaysian owner's main residence is in London, that the helicopter was taking him and possibly West Ham's directors/staff back to London. If so it could be that people from both clubs were caught up in this.

Depressingly when Matthew Harding died I remember a few people I knew at the time saying things along those lines.

    Glenn Hoddle

Any suggestion of what's happened to him? Hope the bloke is alright, always felt he was unfairly maligned as a manager and a man (as Graham Taylor was before him for different reasons).

    Helicopter crash at king power

Hoping no serious injuries but it doesn't look good at all. There will be a few knuckledraggers giving it the 'let them die, Leicester scum' shit but 99.9 percent of fans recognise that when it comes to anything like this, football rivalries are meaningless. Fingers crossed everyone is OK.

    Best Football Headline

There was a big newspaper in the US which went to its first edition announcing the result of the presidential election and announced the wrong candidate as the winner....1948. Dewey Defeats Truman - Wikipedia

    Best Football Headline

On Ceefax a few years on the news index, they used to have a single word giving them theme followed by a headline, all on the same line of text. Once they did BLOW: Jobs lost at car factory.

Should you be able to have a beer when watching the game at The Ricoh?

I think that's why you have stewarding to ensure that nobody with alcohol can pass into certain areas of the ground (dry areas would have strict stewarding preventing alcohol being taken in, as at present, and there would have to be no way of walking between "wet" and "dry" blocks e.g. using...

Should you be able to have a beer when watching the game at The Ricoh?

You can have a beer at cricket, rugby and other sports so in theory football should be no different. Would this lead to trouble? Maybe, but it's not "the bad old days" any more. Perhaps this could be allowed in a controlled way e.g. there could be blocks of the ground where you are allowed to...

    Stuart Richards Tribute at Game

There was a video on Facebook showing dashcam footage from another car, slightly ahead of Stuart Richards. The big car pulling the caravan sears past, with other cars veering desperately out of the way of the oncoming vehicle. Really really shocking - it could literally have been any of us, just...
