    Stadium Location Options-Letter to CovCC

That's due to cut through some of the farmland that Warwick Uni own (Cryfield Grange farm, etc). So somewhere to the north of that (i.e. towards the campus) would be very good for many parties. Could we encourage them to build an HS2 station there? It's in Warwick District too, so Duggins...

    Things that annoy you

All these newly-released ones (generally women's cars, it seems) that say KI55 *** (insert initials here) get on my tits.

    Things that annoy you

Head above parapet time - i bought one for my missus, as she wanted to "de-age" her car (with the intention of keeping it a while). Nothing complicated or stupid spacing - just a letter, a round number, then her initials. I think they have their place, unless they get overly arsey! There's a guy...

    Council Statement due today

It's alright - in an unaired bit of the interview, he apparently said he was a lifelong City fan, being 10 or 11 in 1967. The Sky Blues are in his blood. Pretty much like Ann Gauloise-Lucas (Deputy-Mayor elect)

The Somali girl Amal was quite lovely too - shame she got binned.

The 'not so obvious' hot babes thread!

Actually she looks quite petite on telly. I don't think that picture does her many favours! But the ginger lass from Middlesbrough (Annabel) is altogether more desirable (but would qualify as obviously hot - sorry)

    Council Statement due today

I don't see why CCC need to have ANY involvement with the Ricoh negotiations - other than being the owner of the freehold, they have nothing whatsoever to do with it! W*sps may want the legals to be dropped because, while they are not a defendant in the current JR case, it COULD come back to...

Anyone know if Duggins' seat is up for re-election?

    An interesting find

This has been SISU's point in seeking to bring a judicial review against Coventry City Council for providing state aid to a commercial organisation, contrary to EU law. You have to admit, they had a point!

Nope ... she's got an annoying yuppie voice!

    Council Statement due today

Local council elections are on 2nd May - are any seats on CCC up for grabs? Ample opportunity to get rid of SISU-haters if there are!

    Council Statement due today

That section of the judgement doesn't refer to the 2012 talks that Nick is talking about. That was November 2013.

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

Presumably they can build one next to the ground, just like the arson-fodder Sixfields Tavern in Northampton!! Presumably any rapid transport system commissioned by the council will only have a capacity of 75 people per hour (on matchdays)

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

Janitor - there is no absolute requirement that informal discussions are held, but any applicant for a large development would be a lunatic not to! I would love to see SISU and CCC say they are going to work together to find a suitable site for a new stadium, but like many on here, i doubt that...

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

On the comments earlier in the thread concerning a landowner (current or prospective) getting outline planning consent prior to the purchase of a site, that application would still be required to be an open process (i.e. statutory consultation with parish/town council, police, highways, Natural...
