    The delusion continues

Presumably if he gets injured he will go back to Newcastle

    The delusion continues

Agree Steve but if we are not going to use him there was no point in loaning him back

    Confused from Coventry

If we coul cancel one loan before we took on another then we could be said to have not taken on "another" loan

    The delusion continues

As I said in another thread Anderson has said (BBC Website, local news) that any more loans are unlikely

    Unattached Strikers

Anderson has said that any more loans are unlikely so it will likely have to be free agents

Maxed out on Loans and still short on Players

If you want to offload a player you have to find him another club (who are prepared to take a player you think is dead wood!) or pay off his contract.

The Fee, the stats, the delusion

Why do all these people, who think that SISU will take the money and not give anything to Mowbray, care how much we got for him?

How often would you play Maddison?

I said on another thread that I wasn't impressed with him on saturday, I thought he was showboating playing to impress rather than playing for the team. Now he isn't in the shop window anymore he might even contribute more.

Who is the better player ?

I agree he has tremendous ability but ability on its own wins nothing. Ability has to be applied. I was disappointed with Maddison on saturday. He seemed to be showboating rather than playing for the team.

    Silence is deafening from TM

He knew it was a "tin-pot outfit" when he joined. In that respect little has changed. If the owners aren't putting money in, then money has to be earned.

Feel free to put the ...

Feel free to put the ...

Perhaps we did. Who knows what the state of the club's finances is. I'm sorry he was sold this window, and especially if it was only £2m. Perhaps that is what he really is worth, after all Charlie Austin went for £4m and he's achieved at Premier level. I would have preferred a more considered...

Expectations at begining of season were...

At the start of the season, given our previous performances, I would have settled for unexciting mid-field. Ten or higher would have been a bonus. If we had dropped some of these points earlier in the season I would have been delighted with our current position. But we didn't drop those points...

    not ready yet

There have been other times (briefly alas) when I have contemplated promotion and thought we weren't good enough and perhaps it would be better to consolidate for the following season. I have changed my mind. Go up. Come down.Take the money and try again.

Is the Port Vale game on Telly ?

There was another thread about the Port Vale game; clash with Stoke as I understand Peterborough move is for TV but we still intend to go despite that

    Linesman

I thought the linesman replaced the original ref. But as we were in the Tesco stand didn't see the change over The ref called the linesman over so we presumed he was the senior replacement and new lino was fourth official.

Just bought 2 PV tickets on line. Although it's unreserved "seating" when you get there you have to choose seats
