    CCFC stuff at work

Grim? That's Brentford river bridge near the canal basin, with my office on the far left of the screen. Historic site, that - that's where the parliamentary army fought off Charles I's attempt to invade London at the start of the civil war. Holding London with all its wealth and strategic value...

    CCFC stuff at work

Has anyone else got CCFC stuff at work? Check out my desk: This'll be embarrassing if I'm the only person who has got anything like this, but on the basis that I used to work with other City fans who had A4 landscape photos of the famous Houchen flying header on their desks, I'm pretty sure...

I initially read that as 78/1 which will probably be about right come mid-October.......

    Nosebleed territory?

When the L2 and National League playoff results are confirmed, we'll know all 24 L2 teams next season. That'll be the cue for bookies putting up a market with odds for each team according to likely promotion/relegation, from which you can construct what they think the league table will look...

Who would you prefer next season?

Ha, shame to have missed that one as I do actually know - I could have piped up, "anyone"-style, with "Nailsworth!" after the chorus.... In the play-offs, one of Blackpool, Exeter, Carlisle or Luton will go up and thus miss us next season. Purely based on the away day, Exeter is a long way and...

Who would you prefer next season?

They don't ban non-vegans from eating the vegan pies!

Who would you prefer next season?

Forget Shots now, they have been knocked out by Tranmere in the semi this afternoon.

Who would you prefer next season?

Newport County or Hartlepool United? Daggers, Aldershot, Tranmere or Forest Green? The only bad away day out of that lot is Aldershot and they're 3-0 down going into their away leg at Tranmere so we can probably forget about them. Hartlepool is a long way but we could make a weekend of it - I...

    Blackpool this weekend

Was on holiday with a couple of mates visiting another mate who lives in Istanbul. We were sitting round on the Friday night wondering what to do, then we saw Gala were playing at home and the Turkish mate is a big fan. So we went up to the ground and there was basically a bunch of of season...

    Blackpool this weekend

Fantastic - thank you so much for this. Just spend the last few minutes creating a profiling and adding all the grounds I've done...see here: oucho (Coventry City supporter) - Football Ground Map

    Blackpool this weekend

I've done the 92 and have been keeping it updated since then. If Forest Green come up then I will have to visit them but tthat is no hardship as that'd be a City away day anyway and i have family nearby so would make a weekend of it.

    L1 Manager Win Percentages

Me too, at Northampton away. Although it was the performance of some of our fans, rather than the players, that caused me and 4 mates to bugger off back to the pub when the second goal went in. 2 of the 4 did the same at half time at the Cambridge game.......that one required too much...

    General Election

For once you talk a lot of sense, in fact I agree with every word there (except 'ejections' which nonetheless will be appropriate for many Labour MPs on June 8th including possibly Cunningham)

    General Election

For those talking up a "trend towards Labour" in the last few polls (which I argue above couldn't yet be called a 'trend' at all)....2 polls out tonight: YouGov, for tomorrow's Times: CON: 48% (+4) LAB: 29% (-2) LDEM: 10% (-1) UKIP: 5% (-1) Kantar (formerly TNS): CON: 48% (+2) LAB: 24% (-)...
