Well deserved and scored 3 good goals. If Marine beat Spurs our Sutton defeat will almost be forgotten !

    January transfer window

I was messing about I just thought I'd stick his name in. We could do with an experienced striker though, but within our budget.

    January transfer window

But he would still cost a few bob. So forget I mentioned him ! 😉

Troy Deeney looks like he's leaving Watford. He's a Brummie and experienced and would be good for a season or two. But a bit injury prone and would be on a decent wage no doubt. Just thought I'd throw his name in !

    Death List 2021

Colin Bell one of the best players I've seen play. Saw him at Highfield Road a couple of times and once when we played at Maine Road. You hardly hear of him when they talk about brilliant players from the past, but very few have been better.

    24 Hours in Police Custody

After all that acting by her and how she messed about, she only got 9and a half years. Be out after doing half of that, bet she was laughing in her wheelchair, then doing press ups in her cell.

    Wilder resigns

The Saints manager got emotional at the end, but what a job he's done since that Leicester hammering. They could of got rid of him but stuck with him and are now reaping the benefits. Shows that keeping some managers for the long term can pay off, and I hope they get a top six place. The job...

    The Brewer and Baker

That looks like the Hertford Arms going back some years. Great pub before matches, I recall a load of Hull City fans coming in once, they took one look at us lot and turned quickly around. Although to be honest can't remember much trouble in there, that took place away from the pub !

    The Brewer and Baker

Great pics as usual. Drank in all of them over the years. Only one missing is the Hertford ?

    The Brewer and Baker

Weekends in there were always lively. A few of us would do a pub crawl, start off in the Elastic,on to the Forresters, then to the Beer Engine to watch a band, then wobble to the Brewer and Baker for a late one. Great boozer full of characters !

    Scariest time at a ground.

Birmingham away and it was around November 5th. Never seen so many fireworks being thrown at us, bangers the lot. Shouldn't laugh but one lad watched the match with singed hair, he saw it as a badge of honour !

    Scariest time at a ground.

We came back from Leeds once with the back windows smashed in,the driver drove all the way back without stopping. Mid winter as well. Those were the days !

    Scariest time at a ground.

So many to mention. But away at Stoke City was always kicking off. A few of us got ambushed on the way back to the station in the 1970's, they hid in the churchyard, and lobbed bricks and bottles at us, we were too busy running to lob them back. We managed to get on the train, but they then threw...
