Thanks - in fairness, much of it was excess weight I'd piled on between mid-November and New Year, doing no exercise, eating junk food and boozing every day, so there was some "low hanging fruit" that would have fallen off anyway once the party season ended.

Sensible eating and modest exercise have helped me lose 24lbs since new year. It's taken a bit of willpower, mind! For the first time in about 6 years i am set to be officially not 'overweight', and feel great. On a real rolitwith it.

Agree with Nick. It might be a fun day out but it's an insignificant sideshow compared with the league, our progress in which (or lack thereof) influences our future prosperity and status as club.
