If we win enough points it doesn't require the other teams to go on an awful run. We're not reliant on other results.

    Relegation thread

OK.............maybe not time to close thread. Done some statto magic by transplanting MR's first spell here with out current points tally, and it makes interesting reading. MR picked up 44 points in 25 league games, by my reckoning, in his first spell. That works out to 1.76 points per game...

Why would they offer it to SP instead of Robins?

Exclusive - mark Robins to be named

OK a few thoughts. 1) Thanks RS for your time trying to make it work - a thankless task and i think not a genuine reflection on his abilities elsewhere (as shown by decent results at Yeovil, Cardiff and Orient). Won't go down as a CCFC success but frankly few do, and the rot had set in long...

Exclusive - mark Robins to be named

I sincerely hope people finally learn how to spell his surname! Willis, that's it from those who played a first team game before or during his tenure.

Time for Tim Fisher to go

How many managers have gone under Fisher? By my count it's Thorn Robins Pressley Mowbray Venus Slade Not bad going for a bloke only involved since 2011 at the absolute earliest.

A work colleague is a Yeovil fan and when Slade joined told me Slade would play long ball to a big centre forward all day long. Unfortunately he tried the long ball bit without the 'big bastard' bit so it was always bound to fail, but he had no other tactic.

Nobody with a a games-wins ratio of less than 8% should be running a pro football team. Ecen Thorn's record was nearly three times better than that. I agree with Sky BlueBear83. Give Ricketts the last 11 games and treat it as a job interview. If it's a no after the last game, decide quickly and...

    Slade gone

Slade was appointed as Charlton boss at the start of the season so he has had two entire spells with two different clubs during a single season, not bad going. It's only early March so he may squeeze in one more yet!!!

Agreed. Timing seems a bit odd. It looks like Bury sealed his fate but that he was asked to dtay on and take the team to Shrewsbury, god knows why.
