Don't think that's surprising at all tbh - Robins never really does a lot of business in the January window,
We have a pretty big squad with quite a few wasters.
With the uncertainty of possibly playing behind closed doors soon vastly reducing the finances I would be more disappointed if we did...
Yep Lewis started well but couldn't live with him in the end. Anderson is a funny one when he is on from he is very hard to stop but when he is off his game he is really off! Agree though 33/1 is a good each way shout!
Just looking to see which player I can jinx next now! .....
Wondering if Adrian Lewis may come to form and go far after last night - he definitely has the talent.
I can see him getting past Gary Anderson for sure depends which Gary Anderson turns up - if he gets past him could be one to watch!
I think the place is good tbh - much rather see it survive than the Spon Gate tbh - awful pub! Ales are cheap granted but normally shocking and not well maintained I'd personally rather pay a bit more for a quality pint nowadays anyhow.
It would be a shame if it goes - not sure location is...
O'Hare certainly was not a guaranteed starter in league one - can understand the rest argument but we have a break after next game where he can rest for a bit longer anyhow. I would play him against Bristol City which in theory is a game that could be made for him. Obviously if he performas...
Swansea just passed us to death and their game management was also excellent - through their ball retention we were dead on our feet and blowing out of our arses after about 50 minutes was never convinced we were going to score at any stage second half if I am being honest and take the sky blue...
I still think he is best finisher at the club and has a lot of good attributes but agree with Grendel he never used them!!!
Very frustrating player can see him moving somewhere and catching fire like JCH!
A bit like Kasta if he can't get game time in Scotland can't see him breaking back into our team. I can see us getting McCallum again for next season in some capacity and like others have said have the youngster Reid as deputy can't see a way back for Mason but hope I'm wrong.
Hmm I like him a lot but sort of agree with Grendel he is getting on - playing Sunday footy myself still at 46 the body does go and injuries kick in more and more. I am not sure his body is standing up to Championship rigours if I am honest and will probably only get worse.
However call me a...
I think he;s done well overall and better than Marosi this season - still not sure either are quite good enough.
Wilson for me for a big lad is a bit too nervous and needs to be far more decisive and commanding at times....seems a little rooted to his line at times.
However this may be...
I think we will win this one - have no idea why but just think we will - we are decent at home and will be buzzing and Barnsley have poor record against us and are secure in play offs and can afford to lose the game too!
Providing no injuries they've had a rest by this season's standards has to go in unchanged I think,
Reward the start xi for that performance against Brizzle
Surely it's 4-3-1-2 isn't it?
Eccles, Kelly, James in the sitting 3
O'Hare just behind the front two of Walker & Godden.
Quite like the side and Hamer needed a rest or a kick up the backside whichever way you want to look at it!
Thank god Fadz is back a bit of steel and Kelly has to come back too but also perform,,,,,Pask to come in for DaCosta maybe MR wil pick my side as opposed to waiting to change it to my team after 60 minutes this game! :rolleyes...
Will be very tough - they pretty much have been playing 4-2-3-1 consistently in this good patch.
Think though for this one we probably don't match up and play 3-4-1-2.
Wilson...
I would have probably hooked Wilson a couple of games back ....Robins didn't ......I'll be surprised if he doesn't start after keeping a clean sheet tbh. Only way Marosi will come back in goal tomorrow is if he is electric in training and Wilson horrific I don't see that occuring.
Dabo has been relatively poor this year so don't think losing the Dabo of this season is that much of a blow = there I've said it.
Dabo in league one form yep a blow for sure Dabo this season I think his place would be under threat on performances anyway,
I think Pask or Dacosta can perform to...
Well Baka, Gyokeres and Shipley can only put in good performances at this level to get in manager's eye - they have all scored.
Good to get minutes in the legs, goals for confidence and hopefully should increase competition for start xi next match.
The first xi have been a bit lethargic imo...
