From what I’ve figured out it wasn’t the main Cov lads that were involved, it was younger ones and random fans. The police escorted the Legion late to the ground after holding them back I believe. unfortunately it’s often the innocent people that get targeted.

Completely agree. I also hope they keep Cov in after the game following the chaos coming out last season. I genuinely didn’t know who was who at times....

There were plenty of issues before the game and leaving the ground and Sunderland were actively looking to cause problems with any away fans. That’s how it was so fans being cautious isn’t a bad thing.....it isn’t Forest Green Rovers.
