A mate of mine who works in Pompey was there last night - think he is still drunk!
Will try to get a ticket for Watford too. Should be ok to pay on the day I suspect. You will spot me easily - I am a bit taller than you WM!
I intend to pay on the day, so good value.
It's £15 return on the train from Northampton - wil take me half and hour longer to get to Brum though. Damn the world and its mother!
Yep. I would go with that. The club management strategy (if you can call it that) as described here makes it the worst that I can remember. It's easy to pick players that didn't work out for whatever reason, but for the club to be so poorly clued up on what a lot of us new smacks of incompetence.
Didn’t get England tickets- but me and the cricket mad lad are going to the Australia Sri Lanka game at the Oval. £7 for the lad and £26 for his unfit, best sporting days in the past Dad!
Its a stark choice isn't it (not that we get one). Boris or Raab (or Rab).
Rees Mogg, Leadsom ...... the list goes on
I'll match your tenner with ten Euros
Good riddance - now its time for the next self obsessed idiot..
It won't be Gove - he is playing the long game, so will pick up the reigns when/if there is more stability. I walked by him the other day, and he is surprisingly tall!
Unlike last time, I shall attend as and when I can regardless of where we play. Different circumstances.
Shame it won’t be Sixfields - only 3 miles from home. Hay ho - a cross I may have to bare!
A bit of gallows’s humour never hurt anyone
Summed up perfectly. By far my worst day. I live in Northampton and it is a great town with very loyal fans (rugby rules the roost) I had to go to work and cope with the justifiable humiliation. I didn’t go to the game as I suspected the worst. I found out in the pub via the pink un. My world...
