Busiest match thread of the season?

If Palmer hadn’t taken that then Allen had an open goal but he had to go for it.

Doesn’t get a lot of credit on here but that pass from Allen to Kane which almost led to the equaliser was absolutely gorgeous.

That’s even worse than ACL. Poor lad. Speedy recovery.

Five corners already this half and didn’t threaten from one unfortunately.

Feel for Kyle McFadzean being injured today - would have been so special to play against his brother.

Weird! Only 16 episodes available on Disney+ in Switzerland but just checked and there are 18 which is far more logical.

Match Thread Wrexham FA Cup match

Has anyone watched the Wrexham documentary? I rattled through it this week as still off after Christmas. Whatever reasons Reynolds and McElhenney had for buying the club, they definitely engaged with the community and created a feel-good factor. Ended a bit weirdly after their FA Trophy final...

Good news. Looks like we should expect quite a lot of Wrexham fans in our end, though. Hopefully a good atmosphere and no bother as they have a known element of trouble-makers.

    A signing! (Brooke Norton-Cuffy)

Some very encouraging comments from Rotherham fans on Norton-Cuffy’s farewell tweet: ‘Thank you Brooke, you are a tremendous talent. I expect to see you playing in the premiership within the next season or two. You were brill for the Millers‘ ‘A joy to watch and a very intelligent footballer...

    WBA (Away)

We beat QPR on a Friday night in September 2020 - McFadz winner. First win back in the Championship I think.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Bristol City Match Thread - Sunday 1st Jan

Thanks. Will check later. I’ve got some of those but a family ticket for 30 quid from a season ticket booklet. It should be open regardless, however. Edit: just checked and vouchers need to be exchanged at the ticket office.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Bristol City Match Thread - Sunday 1st Jan

Just drove from Bedford to the ticket office to buy tickets for tomorrow only to find it closed. There are four people working in the shop but none selling tickets. I went in at 6pm before the Cardiff game to buy for Bristol City and they were only selling for Cardiff - they just don’t make it...

    O'Hare

Thanks for asking. Getting stronger all the time. I’m back running 5ks again but need to go to the gym 2-3 times a week to use the leg extension machine to build up thigh muscle. I’m about 80% back to pre-injury.

    O'Hare

I’ve been in physio all year recovering from an ACL op in Jan (hamstring graft and both meniscus needed stitching) followed by a second op in June to remove scar tissue. My first physio said Memphis Depay had had a brilliant recovery - back playing in seven months - so there is hope. More info...

    City 4 Spurs 3

Remember going to the bloody panto the day of the 4-3. This memory also popped up on Twitter - look at the state of the pitch when we played Derby at HR in 1988:

What if @Saddlebrains lumps on with that 3p he has in his account???

    O'Hare

Gutted for O’Hare and the team. I’ve had two ACL ops this year and I’m hoping that because he grabbed the back of his leg rather than the front that it’s not ACL. Definitely looked to be holding the bottom of the hamstring behind his knee and replays didn’t suggest a serious knee twist although...

    Player Ratings

Not one for slagging Allen off usually but that performance yesterday was pathetic - knocked off the ball every time and the coup de grâce was that comedy defending when attempting to cut out the assist. One for the future without a doubt but Doyle was exposed again - not getting the right...

    Keepers

Wilson made a brilliant last-gasp save to help us win a game - think it was Watford but could be wrong.
