    Wasps downward spiral...

Whilst i'd love to see them go bust, i think there's a higher likelihood that they will eventually realise its been a complete failure, and they would attempt to pick up where they left off back in the London area.

    AFCON

Those are obviously issues. But there's enough shambolic goings on in "western" football, that makes it a bit hypocritical to write off a continental championship, just because it isn't so important to us.

    AFCON

It's pretty disrespectful to write it off as a meaningless tournament. It may be to us, but it's plenty important enough to the people of Africa. Teams complaining about losing players should take it into consideration when signing players... not sign them and try to guilt them into missing...

Teams you have an irrational liking for

My mate is a big St Etienne fan.... his daughter is named Etienne. Went over to watch them play away to Caen.... some weekend that was.... night ferry from Portsmouth to Caen, then day in Caen before the game, then straight out after. Drinking with the MagicFans ultras by the harbour...

Teams you have an irrational liking for

My mum said to me once... "you hate everyone who doesn't support Coventry" my reply was... "nah, i think a lot of Cov fans are twats as well..."

Teams you have an irrational liking for

I'm a big fan of Italian football, and have travelled out there for games, therefore have a soft spot for a number of their sides... Lazio... my first Italian game was the Rome Derby in the Lazio end. Atalanta... their fans are brilliant. It's rather a shame that they've had to make...

    4th Round draw

I'm sure Southampton fans are absolutely hyped for their "glamour tie" at home to Coventry City

Teams you have an irrational hate for

I'd sooner see Villa/Leicester do well than any of the so-called "big 6" who tried to destroy English football last season.... already conveniently forgotten by the media. However my list would be Villa, Newcastle, Sheff Utd, Liverpool, Sunderland, Swindon, GIllingham (although plainly a lot...

    Running

With the cancellation of the Warwickshire Cross Country today, i decided to have a little run out at Bedworth Parkrun instead. 19:45..... 2nd..... slow for me, although i did make a conscious decision to try and run relaxed throughout, never pushing the red line. And it was wet, windy...

    The future of the club

Aren't transfer fees used by about 90% of the teams in the pyramid to remain "sustainable"...?

Top Ten City goals of all time

I'd just come on here to post this (i was there too!) Probably better than Mcallister's against Derby. Only thing it doesn't have is the sense of occasion, just being an equaliser in what turned out to be a 3-1 defeat (if i recall correctly).... had it been a last minute winner it would...

    Running

68 miles last week, although all of it was easy pace as still suffering a few strains from my downhill race last monday. Hoping to make it to the Godiva club session tomorrow, but of more importance is being fresh and injury-free for the month ahead. Three big cross-country races...

    Running

I averaged 58.5 miles per week through the year.... which funnily is exactly the same as 2020... will be hoping to be more consistent and up that to around 70 per week in 2022

    What is your specialty?

I did A levels, but didn't go to University as quite frankly i didn't know what i wanted to do... Ended up doing a Mechanical/HVAC Engineering apprenticeship/HNC, and have worked in that industry ever since, from the office side, ie as a Project Manager/QS/Estimator, rather than "on the tools"

    Running

Quite unique fell race today in the very quiet little mountain range that sits between Chester/Wrexham and the Snowdonia range further to the west... starting on the summit of the mountain and finishing at the back garden of the pub in a tiny village at the foot of the mountain, 2 miles and...

    Wasps downward spiral...

I saw a few photos and apart from the ones posted above, the "main stand" did appear to be around 80-90% full...

    Pay on the gate...?

Assuming our matches on 29th and 1st go ahead... and with the covid passes required... Does anybody know if there are still going to be cash turnstiles operating? I'd like to go to at least one of the games but don't really want to buy tickets in advance as there's a good chance i won't be...

    Running

Raced on the Shropshire hills last sunday... 15th in 1hr16 (how many 5 mile races take 1hr+, i could knock 5 miles out on the flat in around half an hour!!) Having not raced on the fells since late september i didn't have the usual "zip" up the climbs... wasn't a poor result, but felt i...

    Sepalla: Stay or Go?

Yes we were, however we were at the top end of what was obviously a massive downward curve (as opposed to our current upward curve :D)
