    Next Season’s Ticket Prices

My cousin has a box with his mates this season and it was a steal between ten of them. Club did well to get them all sold at a great price and they obviously expect to shift them even with 30% added. I went in once, v Fulham, and it was a cracking day.

We haven’t had that many chances, certainly not clear, but that was a golden one. If Hamer composed himself he only has the keeper to beat. Massive missed opportunity.

Waghorn should have scored his second chance after the initial save - simple side-foot either side of the keeper. Then Kane should have scored when it fell to him. Unlucky overall - a class goal from either team before a shite winner. Lots of positives to take into the rest of the season.

Lovely goal; made a mug of Stephens to create that chance in the first minute, too. He's not very gracious but it's certainly effective how he beats defenders.

Good luck @bad boy. I’m three weeks after ACL reconstruction so hobbling around too. Looking forward to forgetting about it for a couple of hours this afternoon!

    USA Canada match thread

I took the kids to the England-USA women’s World Cup semi in Lyon a couple of years ago and found this song incredible. Even better/worse, was whenever an England player committed a foul the Americans would sing ‘You can’t do that’. They did make it an occasion, though, in fairness.

We’ve got two strikers in the top 10 scorers in the division. They’re not getting backed up by the midfield.

I thought it was bad last week but the crossing today has been rubbish. Decent enough half for us though and a fair score line.

Wasn’t helped by having his shirt yanked although was probably doing some himself. Bidwell then lucky to get away with dragging a player down at the other end.

No need at all. Had his back turned going up for the header. Good save by Moore from the ensuing free-kick.

Clarke-Salter having another good game. Solid defensively and some decent runs forward.

Forum for City fans that live away from Cov

Nice thread @Houchens Head. I’m a Tile Hill lad, went to Leeds for uni, back to Cov (played football with @clint van damme and had some good away days - Ipswich stands out as part of a stag weekend). Moved to London in 2001, met my future wife and settled in Ealing before moving to Switzerland...

Enjoyable half of football. Could have gone either way but we’re lucky not to be 2-0 down as that was a sitter that Wallace fired over. Kane too eager to impress which has impacted his end product despite getting in some promising positions - needs to calm down a touch. Another good half from...

    Match Thread Peterborough away

I’m in an Ashes WhatsApp group with a massive Notts County fan and I mentioned the tribute to Colin Slater on CWR. He replied: ‘Colin Slater? You might be thinking of Mark Draper. Mr Notts County and an absolute gentleman. The voice of my youth and beyond.’

    QPR Attendance

I was at the game in Ibiza and there were a few idiots about. I might have this wrong but was it QPR who we played once at Highfield Road and a big deal was made beforehand of the fact that there would be no police on duty and instead the game would be stewards only? Cue (minor) trouble.
