    Boxing Movie

I'm living right next door to the Job Centre. It is closed but seen staff going in and out all week. My son lost his building job due to the virus, feel like shouting Yozzer style " give my son a job, go on give him a job. "

    Boxing Movie

Pleased you liked the film. One of the best boxing movies I've seen in my opinion. It got great reviews and highly rated among film critics. And Ray Winstone has that edge to his characters in all his movies.

All this isolation malarkey and less getting out more than usual makes me drop off in the afternoon. I fell asleep earlier and woke up with the radio still on. What a track to liven me up though: Rocking In The Free World by Neil Young. What a track !

I've not cleaned windows for a month now thought best have a break due to this virus, too risky. But starting to miss it to be honest, the fresh air and exercise, and the banter etc with customers. A couple of elderly customers have rang me asking when I'll be round again ? Felt like telling...

    Boxing Movie

On BBC 2 last night was a cracking boxing movie called Jawbone. True story about an ex junior boxing champion who had hit hard times etc, and his struggles to return to sobriety.Ray Winstone was in it so he's always worth watching in gritty films. It's dark and moody with a great finale at the...

Before becoming a budding rock star he was always skint, and was always asking for money. He had that Staffordshire accent and it sounded like " Lemmy a tenner, Lemmy twenty till I get paid. " So from that arose the nickname Lemmy.

What are you currently listening to?

As I've been listening to Absolute Rock a lot lately they play this track it seems at least once a day every day. And it's by the Police a band I never really got into to be honest. And got to admit I think it's brilliant: Synchronicity 11 have heard it countless times now, and still love it.

Yes they sent an engineer round yesterday afternoon. Took him half an hour to fix it but got a T.V. now. It was like a comedy sketch as he had a mask on, and talked to me with it still on and all I heard was mumbling ! I had my radio on and he kept putting his thumb up when a track came on...

I've been going on walks and seen no police about yet. As I'm having a break from window cleaning for a bit, I need to exercise to make up for not working. I'm finding getting outside walking about relaxing, and by doing that the days aren't so long.

As if we haven't enough to contend with most shops and supermarkets are refusing to take cash now cards only. I got into debt with Capital One so am paying it off monthly. So only use cash. Luckily Farmfoods in Bell Green are taking cash so that's saved the day. So frustrating !
