    Ricoh Return Stumbling Block

With current circumstances and with spectators not being allowed into grounds it makes sense for SISU to wait it out and hopefully if we do go back to the Ricoh be in a much stronger position to strike a much better deal which makes sense financially. Also St Andrews pitch much better currently...

    Gustavo Hamer - CONFIRMED

Hmm don't write off Mason either he was decent at the start of the season, no disgrace at losing his place to someone who earned a deal with a premier league club! Being number 1 choice again may bring out the best in him too.

SBT Awards: Young Player of the Season

Over the course of the whole season and for his consistency I've gone for Sam though not surprised the flashier players further up the park will get majority of the votes. That he got a move to a premier league club on this seasons performances says it all!

Walsh's goal against Rochdale for me though we have scored some crackers this season!

    Gustavo Hamer - CONFIRMED

Mark Pugh is too old, too expensive and very ordinary ...he is certainly no Gordon Strachan!! Apart from that this rumour has a lot going for it!!

    Retained players list

I am not sure Baka is behind Max like some have stated incorrectly he has certainly started some games ahead of Max under MR. Whatsmore Baka and Max looked pretty decent together as a front two at Peterboro away, I think he has been part of the core squad that have done so well this year and...

    Retained List

Jeez really should not be starting a thread like this now - let's celebrate the moment at least for the night!!!

    8 years progress or regression

We are definitely on the up and fans and SISU in recent times have both been great, the club is being run sensibly and at a suitable budget. I think going back to the Ricoh now however would be a backwards step unless terms are considerably more favourable with a better pitch and more income...

Just how big is our fan base ?

I think our fans are great but a lot are delusional - cov have a hardcore of 8-10 thousand who are the lifeblood of the club. 5k of which who support no matter what and have largeky supported us at Brum. Not sure next season I'd want us back at the Ricoh unless a hell of a lot of thing changed...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Wasn't there a deadline to resolve the leagues by today? For some reason have deadline date of 27th May in my head. Or was that just the deadline for the EFL to come up with a proposal which they have already done? Is there an absolute deadline date for this season to be concluded?

Video Why & what made you a Coventry Supporter

No Logic in it really, born in Essex so West Ham should probably have been my team. Earliest memory is the 4-0 win over Liverpool that my grandad allowed me to stay up for to see highlights. I was hooked since then age 9 and never looked back or considered switching allegiance. My first game...

    Favourite XI you’ve seen live

Hmm this one actually trickier than I thought but from live game only it helps as limits me to early 90's onwards. Going 4-4-2 struggled with left back tbh GK: Westwood RB: Nillson LB: Fox CB: Babb CB: Breen LW: Gallacher RW: Ndlovu CM: Boateng CM: McAllister ST: Dublin ST...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Shrewsbury Town Match Thread - Saturday 14th Mar

Imagine it will be unchanged starting xi bar any unknown injuries occurring. think it will be tougher than some think on here but we will win it in a nervy 2-1 encounter!

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Sunderland Match Thread - Sunday 1st Mar

This one tricky as they have found Baka, Shipley & dare I say it Hiwula hard to handle previously - currently all three not in start xi. I think probably one up top makes sense with our team make up still not a massive fan but if our midfield play very well it can look great...if not though...

Match Thread Southend United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 15th Feb

I think Robins will not alter the team too much on this one would not be surprised if team is unchanged but think he will probably make just the one change Godden in for Baka - maybe Giles for McCallum but I doubt it as MR praised the whole defence post Pompey game, Think we will line up...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Portsmouth Match Thread - Tuesday 11th Feb

This is a real toughie team selection wise a few tired limbs, not sure on injuries,Pompey quite a big physical side.... Think I’d probably go with the following if fit. Marosi Dabo McCallum Rose Hyam Fade Kelly Walsh Allen Shipley Biamou subs: Wilson, Pask, Giles, Westbrooke, O’Hare, Baka...

    Matt Godden

I think Baka is best finisher we have at the club, said it before whether that is good enough at this level is debatable.... If keeping the same formarion with one up top for Bolton - which I hope we don't personally - then it's Godden for me for sure up top on own. I don't think the other two...

    Call it now

I think top two and really think it is one of the best chances for us to get promoted automatically.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Bolton Wanderers Match Thread - Saturday 8th Feb

Shit on bench for sure sorry Jones out - O'Hare on bench. However if Robins wants one up top O'Hare into midfield and think Baka would just shade it for me on top on own over Biamou or Godden.
