    Away Form

We need an away win but overall we have played very well. Unfortunately we have missed chances to kill teams away and as game has gone on and longer game gone on also midfield and defence not shown mental strength/confidence to see out games so not entirely forwards fault which is a common trap...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Ipswich Town Match Thread - Sunday 1st Dec

Hmm difficult one but given those who needed minutes played game for u-23 I reckon it may be a bit of mix n match....I think he will go with following. Wilson Watson Mason Rose Hyam McFadzean Allen Kelly O'Hare Baka Biamou Subs: Marosi, Drysdale, McCallum, Westbrooke, Shipley, Walsh, Hiwula

Match Thread Sunderland vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 23rd Nov

I think personally we should go back to a front two with Baka & Max. Looked really good at Peterborough? I'd give two up top a whirl for the cup game anyway. Marosi Dabo Mason Rose Hyam Macfadzean Kelly Westbrooke Shipley Baka Biamou Subs: Wilson, Watson, mccallum, walsh, Allen, o'hare, hiwula

Max is still suspended for this one I believe bu Fadz will be back - basing team on that Drysdale played vs Nuneaton. Marosi Dabo McCallum McFadzean Hyam Rose Kelly Westbrooke Walsh Baka Shipley Subs: Wilson, Mason, Dysdale, Allen, O'Hare, Kastaneer, Bremang. Would love Hiwula back but not...

    The miss not offside

Would we like someone stronger than Baka up front? For sure but he is low in confidence and he is what we have currently I think he needs arm round the shoulder as opposed to abuse. If O'Hare was in the right position does that not make his miss worse than Baka's if lined up ideally? I quite...

    The miss not offside

O'Hare flatters to deceive plays a different role so not as directly in the firing line flits in and out has missed some glaring chances worse than Baka but is a fans favourite so massively overrated. Baka underrated but not to the level O'Hare is overrated....simples really! Do think best way...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Rochdale Match Thread - Saturday 16th Nov

Given Fadz being suspended think would probably revert to 4-3-3 which has served us pretty well this seson though would prefer two up top. However I think with injuries/suspensions out strongest side on the day leans more to 4-3-3. Marosi Dabo McCallum Rose Hyam Kelly Westbrooke Walsh Shipley...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Southampton U21 Match Thread - Tuesday 5th Nov

Good opportunity to get some minutes into people's legs - I personally would pick quite a stong team and persist with a 3-5-2 formation. I would give Kasta & Hiwula a go in a front two - O'Hare & Kelly to come on and change game if needed. Controversial but overall team results seem to have...

Don't think Watson did that bad when he came on vs Peterborough and he is on loan from a championship side....I'd give him a go and start him on Saturday for Dabo

Think keep team as close as possible for Saturday's game so Watson for Dabo rest unchanged assuming remain injury free. Marosi Watson MacFadzean Hyam Rose McCallum O'Hare Kelly Westbrooke Bakayoko Biamou Subs: Wilson, Mason, M.Williams, Shipley, Walsh, Kastaneer, Hiwula

    Player Ratings

I think I'd gp with following ratings wise Marosi 8 - Very Good Dabo 6.5 - Not his best game TBH but I like him as a player Rose 6.5 - Some good bits some bad bits of passing when gave ball away in dangerous positions. MacFadzean 6.5 - Great in the air a bit clumsy on the ground...

Match Thread Peterborough United vs Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 26th Oct

Overall on reflection it was a good point gutted as I was. I must admit in the end glad did not go to Mk and went to this gane instead thought the SBA were fantastic today! Max and Baka looked a handful all game and have Hiwula to throw into the mix of a front two!!

    Hiwula in a front 2

I personally would play Baka and Hiwula in a front two with Biamou as back up for half time/30 minutes. Ironically I think Peterborough could destroy us with this formation there is an argument to play our regularly negative 4-3-3 of mots of the season. I'm so conflicted but hope we go for it...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Fleetwood Town Match Thread - Wednesday 23rd Oct

Is that Bakayoko who cannot finish,,,,,,still one of the most clinical we have....if that is good enough really now that is a different question! Good to see two up top!

Think that Charters is the riverboat pub mentioned above,

    Bakayoko

In terms of finishing yes I do think he is one of the best finishers at the club and is reasonably clinical in front of goal. Curious to hear who people think in the squad currently are better finishers particularly given recent displays in front of goal. I think it is his work rate...
