Possibly due to limit of loan players. We have 4 in team plus wright on bench. Limit us 5. And he played yesterday.

Match Thread Coventry v Oxford Utd Match Thread - Tuesday 18th Oct

To be fair we have been getting on the edge of our seats all season - though just mostly to get through the exits ahead of the mass exodus of people leaving in dismay.

I agree 100%. Would probably play 442 myself - same back 4 and keeper but with Reid and Jones as wingers, Bigi and McCann central and Adjei playing with Sordell up front. Stevenson and Ruben to come on and inject some second half energy.

So only one change from the team that did such a great job on Sat - I suppose continuity is important to be fair (shame in our case it's continuity of shitness)

    Scg meeting notes from Thursday

Urgh, when a thread descends into angry people re-quoting each other's obsucre posts from several pages pack, in multiple bitter arguments and invoking ostensibly unrelated subjects like Wasps. Oh wait, that's most threads on here.

Match Thread Coventry v Oxford Utd Match Thread - Tuesday 18th Oct

I said exactly the same. People were on here saying "hopefully we can beat either Oxford or Rochdale" ...when did CCFC start feeling like the underdogs against (no offence) much smaller clubs???

    Why won't sisu sell?

Exactly. The whole JR2 is as much of a fiasco as JR 1, in fact I find it hard to see which one is more ludicrous / spurious. As much as some may dislike it, SISU have no grounds for complaint. Not that this stops them for using the legal action to try to get the council into offering them money...

Read the next paragraph. He clearly says that Trust funds will not be used to buy the cub, and instead a community share offer will be issued.

    Scg meeting notes from Thursday

Exactly - there is nothing more to come out as the appeal process can only consider evidence from the original JR and nothing new (as far as I know); sorry to bore you all but the reason the council are insisting on a cessation of the legals before they'll re-start the relationship with the...

Personally i think it's a good idea, fair play to you. Anything that means that people who are uncomfortable can be made to feel more welcome. As with a lot of the crap that's "part of the game" i find the hhomophobic 'banter' at games boorish and pointless.

My bruv lives in Lancaster just down the road from Morecambe so may make a weekend of it, especially as he's just had a kid!

it's ok, as he says "we have a website and we use that," so why use any other forum at all (other than SCG) to communicate with fans?

When did Gilbert lead CCFC fans on? What's your problem with him? Seems alright to me.

    Scg meeting notes from Thursday

Reading those minutes it seems like Mr Strange is implying that the only legitimate thing to is to express concerns via the SCG email not march, chant sisu out or throw piggies. Or am i misreading that?

It wasn't abuse. Ricketts especially walked over to applaud and be applauded, the response was that he should have walked straight off head bowed after the way he played.

FFS. Are you saying that singing sisu out in the ground is 'not supporting the team'??? You do talk rubbish. I can sing SBA songs and sisu out, thanks.
