    SISU OUT March

SISU couldn't care less about marches. If you want to do something productive you will need to do something that really annoys them (but still within the law). I can think of several examples if you want to PM me.

New Striker- Loan - Jack McBean

Yes, I know. It was hksb in Hong Kong, Singers_pore in Singapore but I haven't thought of one for my switch to LA.

    Swindon away TLS report #1

A very well written article. Re: the ad in the girls' loos, I think it is advising women to buy a family car after they get a positive pregnancy test. I wish the writers at the CT had the linguistic skills of 87mint. Alan Poole is particularly bad. He can barely string a coherent sentence...

Have you never heard of foreclosures? There are lots of houses sold in negative equity.

New Striker- Loan - Jack McBean

I live in LA and have started going to LA Galaxy games fairly frequently but I haven't seen much of Jack because he is far down the pecking order. Jack is LA's 4th or 5th choice striker behind Robbie Keane, Mike Magee, Dos Santos and possibly others. I would imagine that LA have agreed to pay...

What do you think is the end game ?

To go back to the OP, I believe that SISU are hanging around for two reasons: 1. It's not costing them anything as long as the club can pay its own way. 2. Wasps will likely encounter significant financial difficulties when the bond becomes due for repayment as they are still making huge losses.

What do you think is the end game ?

We have so far had three "explanations" from the club as to what has happened to the Maddison money: 1. According to CA's statement at the time of JM's sale, the money will be used to build the club's infrastructure. 2. Later it was stated - mainly by Nick and others on this forum - that...

What do you think is the end game ?

There are claims on here that the club's accounts show that SISU have not taken any money out of CCFC. That is simply not true. And before anyone asks, yes, I am an accountant (ex-KPMG) as well as being a professor in a business school. While it is incorrect to conclude from the accounts that...

    Ricoh Arena

Only 5 years to go before their bond becomes due for repayment. Unless there is a massive turn around in their losses I reckon Wasps will then be in financial meltdown. Hopefully we will have got rid of SISU by then.

It's worse than you can inagine

Do you have any evidence on this or is it just supposition? I must admit that I always found it very odd that SISU didn't immediately exercise the club's option to purchase half of ACL after they bought the club. If it is true, then this would make the council even more of a guilty party than...

    Wages

CCFC directors paid 314K to themselves in 2015. You're right that in some clubs the directors don't take any salary but ours is one of the clubs where they do. I wouldn't object to paying them if they had done anything useful, but they haven't.

Arma To Start Season At Newcastle

Yes, he looked poor but he only had 20 minutes to be fair. At times he looked a bit sluggish for us as well but he is certainly capable of scoring goals.

    Wages

Research has shown that the amount a club spends on players wages is the main determinant of where a team finishes in the league. So I thought it would be interesting to compare how much the clubs in this year's L1 have been spending on wages in the recent past. There are some caveats in the...

Really? 18 players gone and only 4 new players having come in. Prospect of losing the Academy. Prospect of being homeless again. How are things looking up?

Latest CCFC letter on planning application - Planning Meeting

SISU had the opportunity to buy 50% of the Ricoh. Straight after SISU bought the club many on here (including myself) were expecting SISU to buy at least half of ACL because it was obviously the correct business decision. However, Ranson and the rest of SISU were not interested. As I say, SISU...

Latest CCFC letter on planning application - Planning Meeting

Well, that shows two things: 1. SISU are terrible at business 2. We've been at the Ricoh for much longer than Wasps

OPINION: SAVE OUR CITY: Flaws in council support for Wasps move into CCFC academy

Wasps have said they are investing 7m in the new academy at the Higgs site. Anyway, unlike you, I don't give a stuff about Wasps. I only care about CCFC and its future. It's a pity that you and SISU don't share the same care for the future of our football club.

OPINION: SAVE OUR CITY: Flaws in council support for Wasps move into CCFC academy

There is a huge amount of land all around the Ryton training ground including land behind the factory which connects directly to the training ground. All it needs is for SISU to back up their so called "vision" with cold hard cash to purchase the land and develop the academy which is what they...
