I personally would have used Tudgay and Thomas' wages on a different striker. Dan. A Sordell Thomas ( no idea what he is like) One other. I would have had Thomas out on loan and Tudgay released. However that hasn't happened but doesn't stop me still hoping we sign a different striker.

No one will do, thanks. As I said I was hoping for a right back AND a striker tonight. There is still time and or the possibility of a freebie once the window is closed.

It might not be the end I was hoping for a right back and a striker. Fingers crossed Did TM intimate the other day that one is a free transfer that could happen after the window shuts?

    If no ground agreement

That's where I disagree we won't go there at all in my opinion

    If no ground agreement

Ok so we agree we will have crowds of 1000-2000 We agree SISU want the club self funded (Last time we did the move to break ACL, not an incentive this time) So if we do it the squad including contracts we still need to honour we need to be paid for by crowds of 2000 or less. So if we do manage...

    If no ground agreement

Some would say the Scaremongers are those suggesting we would move to the likes of Northampton again. I am far from scaremongering I am merely pointing out. That whether the FL allow it or not we wouldn't

    If no ground agreement

Ok so we are agreed that we will likely have crowds 1000-2000. Do you agree that SISU want the club to pay for itself and do not want to fund it?

    If no ground agreement

Moving to Northampton would be a slower death that may cost you more money. If you cannot get players on contracts moved on quick enough. I think as a businessman you would looking at an option that costs you least in both reputation and money. Liquidation or Northampton fits neither

    If no ground agreement

Exactly it's irrelevant. Our ability to convince the FL that we can return is what is relevant

    If no ground agreement

Do you agree that another Northampton scenario will have similar crowds?

    If no ground agreement

We came back within the time frame so no need to pay the bond. It was all about returning to the Coventry area

    If no ground agreement

Now far more importantly, can someone remind me again why we would choose to repeat a Northampton scenario.

    If no ground agreement

We came back as soon as we got wind of Wasps (imo) The bond didn't need paying once we are back in the Coventry area within the agreed timeframes

    If no ground agreement

I am not including that because it is not relevant. What's relevant is our ability to assure the FL we have both the means and intent to return. Last time that took a one million pound bond. If convincing the FL we can return is not the most important factor what did we have to put a million...

    If no ground agreement

I am saying that's not relevant. What guarantees can we provide that we will return to the 'Coventry area in an acceptable time frame' Last time we staked a million pound on it. I wonder if that million was potentially at risk if Wasps came in and said you are not welcome back here. Remember we...

    If no ground agreement

Why didn't they move the first season and why did they end up paying £480k a year rent instead of £200k a year that they wanted to? Because the FL said they couldn't move because they could give the FL enough assurances about their plan to return So their choice was to go under it get ripped...

Shame about the experience we found last time we were missing it. However we were then a but desperate for it and grabbed people who in the end turned out ineffective
