There's another one of our ex-youngsters at Hereford, isn't there? Can't remember his name, left under a cloud. Always thought he was better than he actually was.

I've never said before but I'm bored of chocolate and crisps now, I want takeover news.

I've seen him play in the U21s quite a few times and he always seems decent to me. Strong, aggressive and has a good pass on him. I doubt he will ever break into the first team though. Seems one of those players destined to be released at some point in the future.

Not a Bounty fan, I have to say. This is all academic anyway as I'm more of a Quality Street man.

They're replacing them with the other sweets. So you'll get proportionally more Mars or Galaxy. Does remind me of the great Geordie Dr Dr joke though: Man goes into his doctor in Newcastle: Man: Dr, every time I lift up my arm I can smell coconut Doctor: Aye lad, you're bounty.

True, Wee. I wasn't really thinking of the pitch thing. Pleased they're not our landlords anymore and want them gone. I am hoping against hope that they go back down South East way, but this two year thing is concerning. I cannot see why MA would want Wasps. The money they would generate would...

Fine by me. Wasps' crowds were shit in the Premier league (or whatever it's called), they'll be even more shit in the Championship. Can see them leaving or folding within a couple of years of playing here again.

Nah, can't see that myself. I know you have a "source", but unless he actually sits in the room of negotiation himself, then HE is hearing it second-hand from someone else. That's how the Chinese whispers start. Gilbert is guilty of it too, saying SISU and Ashley haven't been in contact. How...

*have to* and *can*/*will* are two separate things. I'm sure the RFU will change the rules and allow them to play wherever they like if it means they still exist as an entity. Hopefully that will be at least 100 miles away.

The only difference is Ashley is a football man - or more accurately has an interest and history in football ownership - unlike Wasps who had no ties and no interest in CCFC from the outset. I'm hoping he'll eventually take us on, so at the very least he can hear his name ring out around the...

I agree. Not only that I can't see anyone from SISU saying "off the record" that they haven't any contact with Ashley. They never talk at the best of times, so I doubt they'll go spouting their mouths off now. I'll take Gilbert's view that no talks have taken place between them with a pinch...
