    finances

To rephrase the question, I don't think CCFC can ever be profitable and at the same time successful on the pitch. Success on the pitch will simply cost more in wages than the club can afford. FFP is relevant to the extent that it will prevent other clubs from making huge losses while we try to...

    Don't blame Robins

I think the big problem in all of this is Joy's lack of ability and/or lack of interest to run a football club. We were told by Tim that Joy is now completely "hands on". And yet she didn't attend the meeting where Tim apparently shook hands with ACL on an agreement. And Mark Robins had to drive...

    Games in hand

Astute: good post. The only problem is the latter part of your post which seems to be based on the wrong league tables (as per BBC and Sky). I tried posting the correct table but the format wouldn't work on this site. Anyway the correct table can be found at...

The Official JPT home leg tickets sales thread

Still a lot of tickets available in the disabled zones. Seems a shame to let them go to waste. Maybe we should invite a few guests from Leicester.;)

    Biggest Sky Blue support since?

Are you sure you're not thinking of the game against Forest when they had to draw in order to win the league. That is the only time I know of when the whole of the Spion Kop was officially given over to away fans.

    Biggest Sky Blue support since?

My recollection is that they had the corner of the Spion Kop terrace (which held about 3,000) plus the whole of the upper Sky Blue stand (not the Sky Blue Terrace which was where I stood). Altogether I reckon Wet Spam had about 7,000 fans there. So if we are talking Cov fans only and no away...

The Official JPT home leg tickets sales thread

Just been on the online shop and there are still tickets available. About half of block 9 is sold and it looks like the whole of block 9 is now available to city fans. Some singles also available in many blocks around the ground.

The Official JPT home leg tickets sales thread

Not sure if anyone has noticed this but the number of views for this thread is going up at more or less the same rate as the attendance for the home leg. It currently stands at around 25,900+.:p

    Very premature but....

Already checked the flights. Will be arriving on Friday morning on the red eye from Singapore to Heathrow. Two days sight seeing with my son and then the game on Sunday. Fly back on Sunday night and arrive back in Singers on Monday evening, having missed an important event at work. I am excited...

Not all them will be dickheads. Some of them will be expats living thousands of miles away.

    Looong shot.

Surely it would be worth someone going over to crewe to buy a couple of dozen tickets and then sell them at face value (plyus hassle costs) to Cov fans.

Considering they dont care about us

One good thing about that site is the videos they have of games from the 60s onwards. It would be great to have something like that on here. Maybe Deano and Nick should have a word.

    Best Amtosphere

The League cup run of 1981 was really special. We beat Watford at home 5-0 in the QF and then in the first leg of the SF against Wet Spam we came from 0-2 down at half time to win 3-2. Such a shame we never made it to Wembley in that year.

    Tickets for Crewe away leg

The club should offer to hold the away leg at the Ricoh so that Crewe can make more money from the higher attendance. ;):D:D

Not many will agree with me, but :-

Exactly - and of those three options, c is clearly better for SISU than a or b. Those saying that SISU won't leave because it would mean losing the 40m they have already put in are living in cloud cuckoo land. The losses incurred over past years are irrelevant. All that matters to SISU is...

Not many will agree with me, but :-

SISU will sell to a new owner. Administration makes little sense unless ACL issue a winding up order.

ACL and the City Council announcement

Yes, it's just his opinion. I thought it seemed interesting enough to post up on here. And yes, SBI is the name for the expat fans group.
