    Where's dark Knight. ?

This kind of thing really annoys me. If we are really that stuck for cash then why didn't the likes of John Clarke pitch in to help clean up the changing rooms. He could do with the exercise and losing some of that blubber.:D

This is well worth a read

The problem with that argument is that unlike most clubs we get no money from stadium sponsorship (massive money), food and beverage sales, car park fees etc. Plus we have to pay 1.2m in rent every year. In those circumstances I would say that we will not be able to compete in terms of wage...

Ah the JOY of it.......Joy Seppalla talks

She's just trying to flog some season tickets before SISU make their exit. I won't believe a word of it if she says they are going to invest in new players. Actions speak louder than words and SISU's actions over the past 2 years have been plain for all to see - Sell , Sell, Sell.

    What Is John Clarke?

The alternative CT story. "John Clarke admits... COVENTRY CITY'S vice chairman John Clarke has shouldered his share of the blame for Coventry City’s slump into League One. Last March, the millionaire who apparently has not invested any of his own money in the club sat alongside Ken Dulalley...

    Crunch time Sisu !!!!!!!

The CT confirmed yesterday that the season ticket sales for this season had already been mortgaged. Plus, the club was offloading season tickets to cover two seasons for a lower overall price last year. Therefore, my guess is that we will have very little money coming in over the next 12 months...

    SISU OUT advertising?????????

Could hire a plane to drag a sign saying "SISU OUT" at St Marys next Saturday. Would create a lot of publicity especially if the game is televised?

Change all that is SKY BLUE?

First things first. The most important thing for any new owner is to sort out the finances, buy the area, build strong links with the community and fans, install a dedicated and competent managerial team (both on an off the pitch). If those structual changes are made I would have no problem...

Fantastic.... Thanks very much sisu, br, robinson.... The lot

This season only three League 1 teams averaged more than 15,000 - the 2 Sheffield clubs + Charlton. Their good gates are not surprising really given that they are at the top of the league. Even if we average only 8,500 in League 1 next year that will still give us the 6th highest attendance...

    hope you are all happy

The threat of liquidation is to the company running Rangers. The "club" is not a legal identity and so cannot be liquidated in the conventional sense. In any case, a business with 40,000 regular paying customers is never going to cease to exist. It simply doesn't make any commercial sense for...

    Thoughts on SISU

According to TommyA our financial problems can be blamed solely at the fans for not turning up in enough numbers. Well let's look a bit more carefully at this lazy assertion shall we? 1. Our average attendance this year is 14,993 which is the 14th highest in the Championship. 2. Our...

    Thoughts on SISU

Cost cutting is not developing a sound business plan. The fact is that CCFC cannot have a sound business plan unless: 1. It involves a substantial increase in revenue streams (e.g., stadium naming rights, car park revenues, hospitality and conferences, food sales in concourses etc.) 2. It...

    7th April 2012 onwards....

It's open knowledge that Clingan and Cranie have been negotiating with other clubs over the past few weeks. Probably more of the squad are doing the same. So is it any wonder that the players are not giving 100%? You can argue that workers should give 100% whatever the circumstances but that...

    Thorn Debate

Not true. He was asked this exact question on SBW and Thorn said he is on a 6 month rolling contract, not a year.

    Thorn

The reason why many people feel that way is the context. Bearing in mind that we were only just above the relegation zone last season and since then we lost 4 of our better players (Westwood, King, Gunnarsson, Juke) with noone of equal quality coming into the club. That's why SISU are to blame...
