    Our squad

It's good to hear that they have specific areas of responsibility. However, I wonder how much the in and out of possession coaches collaborate? Could part of the problem be where each coach wants them to be are too far apart and the players would struggle with the transition? So instead they're...

Well the analysts might as well go then. MR never changes formation and the sub are always pre-planned.

    Transfer Rumour Brandon Thomas-Asante

But the midfielders could create really good chances and if the strikers don't score them, the midfielders won't have any goal contributions. If you look at our xG (which has flaws) we're actually quite high, which suggests far more we're creating the chances and not scoring them.

Match Thread Coventry City - Luton Town Match Thread - Saturday 26th Oct

Seems a bit defensive in possession and makes it hard for the midfield to link with the strikers. Should it be more a 3-4-3?

Mark just left, thanks for everything

To be fair, to each other they really can be. I think someone did a study about what it took to trigger the robin and apparently all it needed was the red bit on the breast for them to attack.

I assume they have excellent network coverage as only Smarty's have the answer?

    Birmingham Airport Locked Down

Probably a bit weird but am I the only person that turns Stansted into Stansfield and starts singing Been Around The World?

    Loans

I think you'd also have to look at how many teams didn't have loans full stop. I think someone said something like we're the only Championship team without a loan this year. When was the last year before that we didn't have any loans? It may well be that it's almost impossible for a team...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I'm a lefty too and I think it's too far. Slavery was a massive stain on the world but for people who themselves have never been slaves to claim compensation for people many never even knew seems a bit much. Let's say someone wants to claim compensation for their great grandfather being a slave...

    Robins Out Poll pt3

Of course he effectively gets to dictate transfers. He controls the money. If there is a player he doesn't want to sign he doesn't sign the papers and it's dead.

    Mason-Clark

That might be ok, with it switching to a bit more of a 5-4-1 out of possession.

    Mason-Clark

Yeah, I think with pairings I'd go BTA/Bassette. Both will press so everyone is on the same page. Which also puts Simms and Wright together. You'd think the amount they cost it'd be a terrifying attack for opposition to face, but I'm not so sure.

    Robins Out Poll pt3

Can we claim another covid outbreak and the need for social distancing in the stands?

Robins don't migrate. Hence why they're the birds you hear singing in the winter. They're defending territory.

    Bobby Thomas

We do have to remember that just because a player is young does not automatically mean they will get better. Many get worse.

    Coventry in the news

Yeah, it's not a fix-all. But would help somewhat with health if doctors surgeries were built (assuming we have enough to staff them). Same with schools - would help but still need the teachers and they're leaving in droves.

    And with that Simms chance....

You di imagine that a lot of his coming up through the youth ranks was because he was more physically developed early on and he didn't even really need to use it to get the better of other players.

    How is Aled Williams employed?

We did basically just set up defensively to stop him having to do too much and hope our two superstars were good enough to win a game by themselves. But I will accept that you could possibly suggest Wilson became a slightly better player.
