Match Thread Wrexham FA Cup match

Bit harsh that. Crowds are ok, currently 8th highest out of 24 Championship clubs. FA Cup 3rd round crowds for Championship sides, unless they have a glamour tie, are usually shite tbf. That said, I don't think it will be too bad Saturday. Think there will be 10K+ home fans.

    Atmosphere

It was nowhere near that bad. It was flat at the end but decent at the start of the 2nd half and miles better than Bramall Lane the other day and just about every other ground in this league. It was also better than the Swansea game and possibly Albion too.

NEWS: Coventry City and EFL reach 'Agreed Decision' regarding postponements sanction

Plenty of time for a drop in pitch after concerts.

NEWS: Coventry City and EFL reach 'Agreed Decision' regarding postponements sanction

That's all in the budget though. These are anticipated gate receipts. This isn't extra revenue and if anything, the cat A game attendances are down on last season.

    Looking like 22-23K all in.

Match Thread West Brom Match Thread

Because it is tinpot. The same applies to Stoke, Albion, Blues, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and many other clubs that are turning away money, it's about striking a balance between revenues and not giving visiting teams a competitive advantage. If it was that much of a no-brainer pretty much every...

Match Thread West Brom Match Thread

While I acknowledge segregation is excessive, why are people so keen to give massive allocations? 4000 is plenty. We're not MK Dons. There are clubs in this league with half empty stadiums that don't give more that 2K because they don't have to and don't want to. We'll get 2.5K at WBA and there...

    That’s on Robins

Big fan of Robins, but that was on him today. Jamie Allen and O'Hare were treading water at 65 minutes. Thing we needed most once they got the 1st goal was energy, we needed to step up the pitch and try to win a few 2nd balls, but we just couldn't get near them. Gutted tbh, but trying not to...

    The Bastards Owed Us £465K

One thing I would say, Simon Gilbert has played a blinder in the last few weeks. Unsurprisingly, no mention whatsoever on the CT site of what is a very significant local story. Edit: it is on Cov Live, but somewhat buried.

    The Bastards Owed Us £465K

I bet Moseley Signs took great pleasure taking those signs down. All of the usual suspects on Twitter very quiet this morning.

    End of Hummel?

The number of twitter followers for those clubs is skewed a bit as they have played in the PL during the lifetime of twitter. Get promoted to the PL and you gain 250K followers overnight and you hold on to a lot of them for years after. It's the reason why Sheffield United have far more...

    Doug King Takeover

Mad, isn't it? Everyone's got a fucking theory, their own 'truth' and get all offended when it's questioned. DK is acquiring an 85% stake, soon to be ratified by the EFL. That's it. That's the reality until proven otherwise. Everything else is half-baked guesswork.

Mike Ashley Takeover …Ready and Waiting

There are people who don't seem to care. They are genuinely egging him on. As long as SISU get a bloody nose, fuck the club.

    Eviction notice

Sounds to me like the club assumed the current deal would continue and would have been entirely comfortable with that. What's so outrageous about that? Tried to.negotiate more preferential terms? That's just conjecture. There is no basis for that. The club have stated there have been no...

    Eviction notice

I see your point, but we were a rival bidder. You may argue it was too little too late and was a non-starter, but we did table an 11th hour bid ahead of the hearing. How would that have played out in court had it been revealed we had already done a deal with the same people we were bidding...

    Eviction notice

You also seem to be forgetting that we made six figure payments to ACL just so we could fulfill our own fixtures, some of which would have paid staff salaries and covered their costs. No Goodwill for that? For sorting out the pitch? We didn't sign the agreement for entirely obvious reasons...

    Eviction notice

I'm not convinced he wants it, but if he does, he has no right to play Russian Roulette with something so precious to so many people. It's a very shitty play. It doesn't end well. We're evicted, we relocate again (we have form) and the EFL agree to it. Surely, common sense will prevail though...

    Eviction notice

What general reaction? Nobody has really reacted. Look, pointless going backwards and forwards. I will choose to condemn the eviction notice as an unduly aggressive act that was not necessary at this stage and which could be hugely damaging. I see it as an attack on my football club, which I...

    Eviction notice

You're really struggling here. The 'absurd nonsense' consists entirely of condemnation of the eviction notice.and not much else aside from calling out your tiresome whataboutery and Vicky Pollard act.

    Eviction notice

Refused to sign a commercial agreement with a 3rd party to play at a venue that said 3rd party didn't actually own? What a bitch.
