I agreed up to the 6.5 for wright.. I'm not sure we saw the same game?! He was full of running. He raced back to help the defence loads. His link up and hold up was much improved too.

Simms did fine yesterday, he held the ball up well and made some good runs. Would be mad to take him out, he needs game time. The only way to get strikers firing is to give them a chance to find form.

    Stonewall pen

100% a pen but O'Hare needs to make the refs mind up there

Yeah missed him off my list, he had a good run out. Moved the ball well and caused panic in the Southampton defence. He is different from anyone else we have. Real good option off the bench until he is fully fit

Very happy with everyone. Collins looks really steady. Thomas and Kitching look a great pairing. Bidwell suits the back 4. Real positive influence I reckon. Milan so pacy. Love it, been a while since we have had that raw pace Opposition can't work out what Sakamoto is going to do next...

    Transfer Rumour Haji Wright

He was excellent today, calm with his finish, held the ball up well. But what impressed me was his tracking back. The move out wider suits him. Also feel like Simms will come good. Just needs that breakthrough and run that Wright has had. He made some good runs. Checked his movement to stay...

Was thinking the exact same thing. Simms hasn't been bad. He had some good touches. Checked his run nicely to stay onside for the chance the keeper came out to block. It's not like we've had much of the ball to do anything with.

I'm fine with that display, looking compact and composed at the back. Offering some threat upfront. Some of the link up between Simms and Wright shows they are building a partnership and should have had a pen.

Just realised Will Smallbone is back at Southampton. He put in by far the best performance against us I saw last season. He aboslutly ran the show when Stoke battered us 0-4 at the CBS. less confident now.

25+ is too much. I love O'Hare but we can't go offering him that sort of money after a year out injured. There must be a way to structure a shorter term deal (1.5 years added?) with the proviso we look again a bigger wage boost in the summer or add an easier exit if a suitable offer comes in...

His recovery speed was amazing on Friday, absolutly smoked players for pace even if they had a headstart. He is going on to big things I reckon

    Football Manager

It is massively in-depth nowadays. You can take control of every aspect of you want, but mercifully you can also delegate as many of the tasks to staff as you want. Makes things a lot more manageable and more like the original management games. There are also tutorials for everything in game...

I hope he stays, seems a nice lad. Big decision for him though. I'm sure we will offer a good deal to keep him but I reckon he could get a big payday elsewhere. Off the back of a couple of terrible injuries that would be hard to resist.
