They're a funny team, Liverpool. They never seem to win convincingly, certainly don't score half as many as they should, yet somehow they've kept grinding out results.

How has Joelinton got away without a yellow card?

We did exactly what we needed to do, follow up those two draws against Southampton and Leeds with a win. Before this run of games, if someone offered us a point from Southampton, a point from Leeds and three from Sunderland, you'd have snapped their hand off, wouldn't you?

Now there's a throwback to a time where it felt like our scouting setup consisted of someone pulling names out of a hat. Christ, I'm glad we're more organised these days.
