    Lee Camp

https://www.smallheathalliance.com/read.php?1,2948797 Mixed comments on the Bluenose forum, but some saying he was one of their best player post lockdown. Sense he'll be fine for us short-term. Seems to be decent with his feet, which will suit our style of play.

    Tyler Walker

Agreed I think he is, although Godden has a better first touch though, and I think makes more of his abilities. Expect this will be where Walker can make huge improvements though.

    Tyler Walker

Will be a couple of years before he peaks at this level as well, will get better at holding the ball up and doing the dirty side of the game, for example. His finishing looks brilliant though

Too deflated to be arsed. Sheaf was brilliant again, O’Hare ran the show second half. McCallum, Ostigard and Giles also v good.

    Ratings - Reading

Marosi - 8 - much more confident, excellent performance Dabo - 7 - great to have him back and still so much more to come Rose - 7 - excellent defensively and when bringing the ball out of defence Ostigard - 8 - top player, strong and commanding Hyam - 7 - great again, shame he couldn’t do more...

    Would you have bright back?

Shipley will score goals though, nearly did against Boro. Have to agree with those saying Allen isn’t good enough, unfortunately he’s not. Physically miles off and not a good enough player to compensate.

    Sheaf and Hamer

Personally don’t think these two are a problem area, and within time will be heralded as a point of strength. Our team lacks balance, too many chiefs not enough Indians - we’ve got ball playing defenders, midfielders, but not enough people prepared to make that run, stretch the defence, the...

Frustrating performance, demonstrating the jump in quality. For me Giles and Allen out on Friday, Dabo and O’Hare in - give Walker 30 mins

Defence have done well, Shipley and Allen struggling to get into it and we need them to, poor touches when they are getting opportunities. Said before but Allen too weak

Can only assume this line up reflects who’s match fit. I don’t understand the plan here, if you have nothing going forward you invite pressure, and give the defence and midfield nothing to go at.

    O'Hare, Allen and Godden

O’Hare is fine, bad game yesterday but the least of our worries. We’re so reliant on the full backs when going forward, desperate for Dabo to be back. Desperately need outlet balls, someone who can stretch the opponent, hold up the play. I don’t know what type of striker Walker is, but can he do...

Think I’d go for that, with a midfield 3, O’Hare at the head of

    O'Hare, Allen and Godden

We had chances in those games, but I wouldn’t say we played well into the final third, if O’Hare doesn’t get on the ball then we’ve got nothing. As I said I don’t want to berate the side, because it’s hard and a big step up and the performances have been great, but we’re heavy at the back with...
