Do be fair to Thorn he attracts good loan signings...

If these transfers were so obvious why did we beat other championship clubs to them? Maybe you need to lend them your computer games. Expect a phonecall from Pep Guardiola any day now. You're wasted here.

Do be fair to Thorn he attracts good loan signings...

He has supplemented a poor squad with 2 good loan signings. Because SISU are such cheapskates there is no depth. I refuse to believe that any city supporter thinks we have an adequate squad. Some of you just like to argue.

Do be fair to Thorn he attracts good loan signings...

We 'could' attract them - it's just previous managers weren't as talented at spotting them. We'd bee attracting the equivalent of Eddie Johnson and that bald Wood lad we got from Man U. But it's cool to slate Thorn and pretend he's been blessed with a good squad.

Sisu can't replace Thorn whilst a takeover is ongoing

Didn't really answer the question. No change there then SISU fanboy.
  5. @richh87

    Millwall v Middlesborough tonight

I won't be too excited if the result goes our way to be fair Otis. See us going down - but with this Incredible squad surely we'll romp home to the League 1 title undefeated next season under a new manager.

Sisu can't replace Thorn whilst a takeover is ongoing

When's the last time City fans rated their manager? Can they all have been bad - or can city fans not face the reality that the club can't afford good players?
  7. @richh87

    Umm...Remember sisu...

This is fast becoming like the Steve Kean situation - except with lazy keyboard warrior fans.

Sisu can't replace Thorn whilst a takeover is ongoing

Or will people simply say "oh well Thorn gave it his best shot but was Inexperienced"? City fans don't do protests, that would involve them leaving the house.
  9. @richh87

    Umm...Remember sisu...

I was expecting to be bottom of the league. To be honest whenever we manage to jump a place or 2 i'm presently surprised.

It's no wonder SISU wont sack Thorn

What a crap thread. The heat shouldn't be off SISU - it's just that idiots would rather abuse a manage working with both hands behind his back than the owners who sell anything that moves and haven't even come close to trying to keep us up this season.

For those who suggest we are not playing more kids than anyone else i.e. Derby

Can't agree OSB. One of the key tools a good manager should possess is the ability to change a game. How could anyone currently in charge of this squad do that? What would Fergie do - bring on Willis? The squad inherited didn't exactly cover themselves in glory - so having lost the best players...

For those who suggest we are not playing more kids than anyone else i.e. Derby

I said Jordan Clarke was Shite v Forest. 1st time i've ever said it though - he has good games too sometimes. The F off SISU thing is a strange thing for you to be upset about - why do you like them so much? Bit odd. They send your club to league 1 by not even trying to compete since the...

With the current squad where so you think we should be in the league....

24th. Survival and Andy Thorn should get knighted.

For those who suggest we are not playing more kids than anyone else i.e. Derby

Why don't you just stick your fingers in your ears, shut your eyes and go "la la la la la, I can't hear you" I promise it won't make you look any more stubborn and childish.
  15. @richh87

For those who suggest we are not playing more kids than anyone else i.e. Derby

If you read the whole thread you'd see those stats were bollocks and that we have more like 12 In the squad. Nobody else has near that amount and they're there because SISU won't pay for proper players. You people trying to claim the squad is acceptable are a joke.
  16. @richh87

For those who suggest we are not playing more kids than anyone else i.e. Derby

Our kids aren't in the team because they're good enough or ready - it's because we've got nobody else. If West Ham's kids get injured an experienced 30 year old comes in.
  17. @richh87

A simply poll question re: Andy Thorn

The silly thing is if he keeps us up we all pretty much unanimously agree it'll be a great achievement considering SISU have sold our best players and left us only with kids who shouldn't be playing at this level. I expected relegation at the start of the season and if we stay up then Thorn...

    Parting of the sea

Everyone was saying how good the squad was were they Nick? WERE THEY?? You see, this is the problem with the anti-Thorn people. They make up shit so they can have a go at him. Non-league teams take the lead in the Cup against big clubs - it doesn't mean their squad is as good...
  19. @richh87

If true no wonger takeover is taking forever

No news is good news. SISU jumped at the chance to laugh off Hoffman's attempts in the summer. Silence means things haven't fallen apart, IMO.
  20. @richh87

    Parting of the sea

The number of 1st team players lost in the summer and the number of youngsters we've had to field IS unique when added together. It was a relegation threatened squad LAST season. Now oddly a few posters - in an attempt to have a pop at Thorn, are pretending the squad is fine.
