Our offside trap is so improved and really makes a difference in taking the wind out of attacks, breaks up momentum and allows us better game management. Well done FL and coaching team.

Just watched one of MR's post match interviews and what struck me was the difference between him and FL actually, MR (as much as I like him), points out observations of what went wrong as if no one else knew. And yet he was their captain and an ever present key player for 10 years, a first pick on the team sheet. Will take our chances on him succeeding here despite their rhetoric, even if ignoring stats on his attributes!

I didn't say he wouldn't be on the bench, but for the reasons I gave, we don't need to play him. PLus, we have a better chance of beating swansea with him out of their side anyway.

I'd say there's no way. He's not trained with the squad (who are playing well), had no time to understand FL and coaching team's system and could even be more likely to come a cropper by a team looking to prove they can do without him and show the swansea support same.

Even if for some reason it doesn't, it seems clear alot of the assumptions about how he dictates money is spent, are just wrong. So totally agree, fair play.

No doubt. I don't mean he's going to ping a killer ball everytime we get possession, but currently not much of that happens (not successfully anyway), with Sheaf doing a reasonable job of it, when he's on it. Seems like grimes is likely more capable of doing this though. I really hope so!

Seems to me like grimes potentially changes the dynamic of our midfeild where we currently see lots of laterally and non progressive passing, meaning someone like kitching needs to rampage forward to break the pattern of play, else everything is down the wings (eventually). I'm expecting much...
