    George and John statue

Who from the 87 side was there? I saw Oggy, Gynn, Bennett, Houchen, Killer, Phillips and (I think) Rodger in the various video clips online. Anyone else?

Match Thread Coventry City - West Bromwich Albion Match Thread - Friday 18th Apr

Here's my Thursday message of positivity: West Brom have won 4/21 away games Our home record under Lampard is 9 wins and 2 draws from 13 matches We invariably turn it on in front of big crowds these days Come 5pm West Brom will be 6 behind and need a near miracle to catch us. It's on. PUSB.

34 points from our last 16 matches not good enough for you, mate?

Such a huge opportunity on Friday. We shouldn't underestimate how important home advantage is. I'd have very little confidence if this was at the Hawthorns but they will not be relishing coming to us especially as there is more pressure on them given the 3 point gap. Our home form is good.

Was never going to overturned. Is there a financial penalty for appealing? I presume there must be otherwise everyone would appeal every red.

They've appealed it. Hopefully it becomes 4 after that.

    Championship thread 24/25!

As long as we win tonight Millwall and Watford would need a near miracle to overhaul us (5 and 6 points behind with 5 to play). IF they caught us we won't be near the play-offs anyway as Boro and Bristol will be out of sight.

I got most of my Collins anger out on Saturday.

That's top of the list for things that enraged me for sure. 2) - giving a goal kick after the linesman gave a corner for what was a blatant fucking corner 3) - their keeper taking a couple of minutes to take each goal kick 4) - not booking the player that body checked Sakamoto miles away from...

I'd possibly consider Wilson over Oggy. Better goal scoring record, 1 in 117 v 1 in 601. I'm not convinced Sheaf is fit enough so would start Torp. Horrible cameo on Saturday aside he's been excellent in home matches recently.

They didn't go hiding on Saturday at all. We were up against a horrible team that rarely concede and we gifted them two goals. I thought the fight from the side was good. You could sense the players felt the same anger as we did towards the referee. Need to use that as fuel for Weds. If we...

If that does happen we’re almost in 2 from 3 territory as West Brom will be 5 behind us. Admittedly the Good Friday game is massive regardless.

Guaranteed to break the stadium attendance record this one surely, at least for league matches.

    Luton game moved to 12:30

How do you even know? Did you stay in the stadium to witness that, you psycho? I was already halfway back to Waterloo by the time they did that. The thought of witnessing that still makes me feel sick now.
