For the most part I was happy with the refereeing but the yellow for Romain after him being dragged back baffled me.
Was it just a case of a ref making an obvious error, or did Vincelot do something like throw his shoulder back to catch the player whilst they were tussling?
Reminded me a bit of Clingan: no real runs forward and a lot of sideways and backwards passes when he was given the ball. Only seem him twice (MK Dons away) but hoping its just a slow start.
Simeon Jackson looked more than comfortable in the Championship. The fact we got him at all is a great coup on our part and I'm so excited to see when hes up to fitness!
I can understand why those there that day were angry, I'd be fuming too, though I don't believe those that said they'd feel ashamed for doing it. They'd have been relieved to stay up as I imagine we did (wasn't alive at the time)
I expect it to be above the prices at Sixfields but quite a bit below the old ST prices (per game) for this year as a good will gesture. Wouldn't have any issies with that tbf
I'm what you'd call blindly optimistic. Our problem last season wasn't scoring, so losing a few goals, whilst disappointing of course, isn't the end of the world. My hope is that the players we have signed at the back are an improvement. Still gutted that Adams had to go though :-(
True but, on paper, those we'be signed look capable of scoring their share of goals. Miller is being lauded for his finishing, O'Brien bagged some (including. vs us) and I have watched Reda score some beauties from corners.
Our signings have excited me so far!
Despite all the off-field stuff, we do still have a team and, if I like the new kit, I will buy it - it's half the excitement and build up to a new season and, quite frankly, any positive/pleasant stuff is to be cherished atm
Regardless of whether the op is likely or not, just answer the question? Imho yes I would be there regardless of league position, or owner - as long as we were in Cov/close enough
Tbf look when we tried the ambition thing we had a 'punt' and it horrendously backfired. I've never seen us play in the Prem and it is starting to feel like I never will :-(
Thats a huge 'if'. I still think McDonald wouldn't have done too well in terms of high pressure game that Pressley likes so couldn't see him staying in Pressleys plans. Think Gillinghams style of play may suit him better than ours would so best of luck to him but I'll be happy with the Fonz from...
See this is the awkward thing with this groundshare. I've never had an issue with Northampton Town FC but feel resentful of the club because of your owner. Is your view (one I agree with btw) generally shared by the majority of your fans, or do most welcome the money regardless?
Granted it was a mistake but I'm pretty sure even Sir Alex has made them before and there was some reasoning behind the decision. Credit where it's due though, changed the style which put Arsenal under pressure
hes exaggerating to make a point as you well know Grendal. You can't deny he has been very guilty of being wasteful even before he put in the request...
